Server Updates

- I moved the VDS in Dallas to Chicago, since it will give everyone a better and more fair ping. The servers that were moved are GunGame DM, Bhop, ZombieHell, and 24/7 Office. The IPs have been updated in the !servers list so use that to connect to them.

- GangLifeRP has been deleted, since it was just gathering dust. I will replace it with a ScoutsnKnives server this weekend so stay tuned.

- Sourcebans has been updated to 1.4.8 which included some security fixes, hides banned players IPs, and it now allows for admin to work if the webserver goes down, so you guys should not be losing trails, hats, or admin if the website goes down.

Website Updates

- Vbulletin has been updated to 4.1.2.

- I added a mobile style so you can now browse the forum on your phone much faster than before.

Finally, there have been chargebacks while donating which has seriously hurt Xeno Gamers. We are in $110 of debt so that is why there is an increase of money we need this month. Apparently this is because credit card companies think we are scamming people since they are small payments of $10 multiple times in some cases making people think we are l33t scammers. If you issue a charge-back you WILL lose donation privileges so please, don't issue them!

The first server is located at mc.xenogamers.com. It is a survival server where griefing is encouraged and you are rewarded for it!

The second server is located at c.xenogamers.com. It is a creative server where you can build structures that are larger than life!

BIG NEWS XENO GAMERS!

For starters, many of you guys don't know but we do have Team Fortress 2 servers, and we need people to populate it ! If you guys are active on TF2, please let silence, Duckii or I know as we need people to moderate those servers! I might post a moderator application (only for TF2) and we are going to need about 5-10 I would believe. We want people from TF2 to join our clan too, even though our clan is growing at a high rate already! The same goes for our TTT server. (the mod in Garry's mod) We want more people to start playing that, and we are going to look for mods for that too!

Now, onto the main thing that's been on everyone's mind...

We are planning to get 4 servers on that asap, as we know majority of xG will get it. As for the servers, it will take a couple months (could be much longer, or a little less) for it to be jailbreak compatible, so we will have to wait for that. Whatever though, the game looks sick and I'm sure everyone is excited for it!

Last thing, many of you guys don't know but we did change the vouch rule for xG as we are becoming big, we didn't want just anyone able to join if they are 16+. Our new policy is anyone 16 or over, needs 10 vouches from members from xG, and anyone younger then 16, needs 10 vouches but either 2 admins have to be included in that, or 3 moderators!

Well we've finally done it. We are Sponsored ladies and gentlemen.

So a couple new things so far, our TF2 servers are populated almost 24/7 now, which is AMAZING! If you are looking to be a mod on those servers, be sure to apply and be active! We finally have a WarcraftSource server thanks to Rabid and the community for taking it to the forums, so be sure to try it out, it's crazy addictive! Last thing we have is a Halloween server, lol we so festive. All the server IP's can be found in our server list in ranks, so be sure to check it out !

Anyways, xG has been growing an amazing amount, and i'm very grateful to be the Co-leader to such an amazing group of members, and the staff we have is just great to work with, and very active so be sure to respect everyone guys :)

ALRIGHT so some of the changes that are going in affect as of now:

1. You can not apply for mod unless you have been in the clan for 2 months AND have 100 posts on the forums (This rule does not go into affect for the people who have already applied before this announcement)

2. All mods, admins, and div-leaders are required to go on teamspeak every week, if not every day if they can, just to get to know the community better, and get themselves known as well. I would like members to try to be active on teamspeak, that way they can be recognized by our staff, and this will definitly improve their chances on being promoted to mod.

Now I will explain one of the things that has been bugging me alot lately and that is about how the vouches work in member submissions and mod applications. As you guys know, I approve / disapprove them, and when I look at the vouches, I don't just derp the vouches and not even consider the reasoning behind them. If someone -1's with the reason "I haven't seen you on" I don't consider it a -1 since that person definitely does not play 24 hours a day to state something as blatant as that. Another thing, stop vouching down people who are younger then 16, I don't take it into consideration either BECAUSE we have further rules towards younger people anyways, and unless you played with them and found they are immature, age does not mean anything about maturity.

Paid Moderators are lower ranked than Moderators and can be overruled by any Mod and up, they will also identify themselves as [xG:PM] for Paid Mod, if they abuse powers and there's proof to back it up, they will lose mod powers permanently.

Paid Admins are lower ranked than Admins and can be overruled by any Admin and up, they can also be overruled by at least 2 (two) regular Mods, they will also identify themselves as [xG:PA] for Paid Admin, if they abuse powers and there's proof to back it up, they will also lose admin powers permanently.

If they try to use any other tags other than PM or PA, they will be punished for doing so, anything from a server ban to a demotion (this applies only to the mod/admin tags, subclan tags are allowed)

Alright we have some good news!

After months of on and off talking to HG Council members, I have finally got the support of their clan to get xG unbanned! This means we can play on their servers without removing tag/group from our profiles.

So now to stress some stuff to you guys.

1. If you guys troll on their servers, you are risking your membership in this clan indefinitly.

2. If you guys break rules and shit or advertise, you will be punished.

3. Do not troll them on our servers, just like how things have always been.

SO THAT WAS THE FIRST SET OF GOOD NEWS! WHATS NEXT AEGEAN?!

Well we are getting 2 Minecraft servers up in 3 days.

First one will be Old xG. This means the mods will be basic and the same as when xG first had a MC server (When it was most popular)

This will be run by Arthman. Griefing will be allowed but to an extent (stay tuned for an MOTD) He can choose mods as he wishes, and the mods will be MCMMO, Townie, and a few others. The slot will be 20 people max but will be increased as population rises. We will have a donation option for MC for some interesting stuff so stay tuned!

The Second server will be a Multi-world and possibly factioned server. This will have a variety of mods and maps that will hopefully interest many people. The donation system will also be new here and it will never be for mod, but instead things regular members can't do (for example hats) but this will be further decided in the future! This MOTD will also be written very soon.

MC aside, summer is coming and this means we will start officially hosting Scrim Contests (We might include out of clan teams to increase the pot and make things more interesting) These will have a team entry fee (will be very cheap) and winners get games of their choice (depending on the money we raise). A portion of the money will go to xG for donations but other then that it's going to be all for good fun, and friendly competition.

Players 'Takibo' and leader of the team 'Fuxxxiii' have talked to our leader 'Silence' and the team 'Calamity' is currently being sponsored by Xenogamers!

Team 'Calamity' will gain the certain benefits;

TeamSpeak tags and possibly other things in the future.

Last season Team Calamity placed 2nd in Cevo-Open, made it out of playoffs in Esea open, allowing them to get boosted up to ESEA-IM!

MINECRAFT

So Arthman has decided to step down from Minecraft, so we need a new division leader for it. We want people to not restart it, but to work and improve it, also to keep our Minecraft population running and alive as weeks pass. So if you would like to nominate yourself and/or others, please post on here.

-Have experience running Minecraft (possibly)

-You must know our plug-ins and also of other popular plug-ins fairly well

-You must know how to work with these plug-ins separately and together.
