Pretty sure a little 'Hey Parasect don't do that' would of been just fine. I could tell him right when I get on steam; and he would totally abide by it.

As a matter of fact if it hasn't been already done, I will tell him to stop.

If this did actually happen and i was causing damage I am to say sorry for all of this havoc i caused. i wont lie about what I did theres no reason in doing that. Im still learning the commands and powers I have right now so if I do cause a scene its not intentional (aka abusing).

And you may use Kart, just be in friendly mode don't bump into people, or just be REALLY careful. Pokemon map isn't the best to kart up on, tbh.

I literally watched the demo and saw you trying your hardest to run into a scout to kill him. You don't do that. If you want to use kart, then you need to be in friendly or ensure that you're not going to hit anyone.

Also, there is a guide or two on the forums here that somewhat guide you on your powers.

Having fun is fine, but please don't pull stuff like this.

This has been the 2nd time in the past week someone has come on to TGH and said something along the lines of "staff on Pokemon are abusing and I don't want to be in there". I'm not saying it's you Parasect, but if you guys witness any staff abusing at all, please record and make an abuse thread. If it's getting to the point that people are leaving the server, something is definitely wrong here.

I'm kinda really pissed off right now, can we seriously not give mods SOME fun commands? Why do you they always have to be abused? Do I really have to make sm_kartify an admin+ command?!

From what I've seen in the demo, it looks like Parasect was 100% intentionally driving into people, and I'm really just wondering why. Like, seriously. We give you staff to do something against rule breakers and you have the audacity to abuse the opportunity we give you? I'm not just talking about Parasect, but recently there's been A LOT of abuse (you know who you are).

I don't think Parasect should be demoted, we can give him a warning.

And if you wanna, I can make sm_kartify (not sm_kartme, since this is for donors only) an admin command, @mrnutty12 @Goblins.

Isn’t the point of ‘Probationary' to have less power (command abilities) +to see if they would be fit for elevated powers.

There are also Probationary Moderators, which have identical powers to standard mods, but comes with a much stricter tolerance for following the rules/abuse. Taken from here.

This is not the right thread to ask these kind of questions, please stick to other threads/DMs to ask such questions, nonetheless demoting him because he did it once doesn't seem like a smart thing to do.

I don't think we should demote on first offence, but I'd place money on you not keeping moderator if something like this happens again. @Parasect

Also @Bello, perhaps we should just remove the fun commands from moderator and promote the people who we know won't abuse them to high heavens?

Just thinking about it because

I wouldn't say the absolute removal of "fun commands" from the moderator position is a great idea. I've always seen the position of "Administrator" as something the fewer people get because of the amount of work that is put in to get it or how highly they are trusted. If you decided to use Moderator as a way of just testing out people so you can promote them to admin later on, there would be a huge saturation of admins and the hierarchy of power would be really imbalanced. Perhaps we should make "Trial mod" a whole new position, and just put it below mod, giving them only gag/kick/slay/mute/ban. If there's staff that is abusing so much that you feel you should remove those powers from all moderators, maybe you should talk to, and maybe punish, the few who did abuse said powers. If this does end up becoming a huge problem throughout all the moderators though, I'd go ahead and go what nutty suggested, but don't just mass promote people because they "won't abuse the powers", Moderators are there to handle rule breakers and keep the server in line, not to use silly commands "for the lols".

We have a new SourceBans group for probationary moderators that I'll add @Tatost and @Parasect to. Comes with a lot less powers.

Parasect, consider yourself on thin ice from now on. We don't wanna see a similar incident happening again.
