Kamek is back, and this time he's turning everyone into wool! Only Yoshi and his pal Poochy can rescue their friends and stop this magikoopa's mischief once and for all.

 

 

Guide Yarn Yoshi or Yarn Poochy through a handicraft world of side-scrolling fun! Unravel secrets, toss yarn to weave platforms, and power up with woolly transformations. All 55 stages from the Wii U version are joined by new ones starring Poochy, plus more Nintendo 3DS exclusive features.

 

 

Wonder Wool

Collect these bundles in each stage to re-knit a friend, then visit the Yoshi Hut to give Yoshi a fresh new look!

Smiley Flowers

Grab all 40 in each world to unlock a special bonus stage.

Pencil Stamps

Collect to unlock materials to use in Craft Mode.

 

 

Winged Clouds

Sometimes these can be tricky to spot, but hitting one with a yarn ball is sure to reveal something fun, whether it's a collectable item or a hidden path!

 

Unleash amazing abilities with Power Badges

If you're having trouble, try a Power Badge, which temporarily boosts an ability in exchange for beads.

 

 

Catch your breath in Mellow Mode

Switch in or out of Mellow Mode at any point in the game to give yourself some extra airtime with Yoshi wings. You can also get help from the three adorable Poochy Pups! These curious lil' fellas will sniff out secrets for you, like hidden passages and items.

 

Simple to start, devilishly difficult to finish

The gameplay in the Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World game is simple enough to pick up and play, but once you get past the first level, the difficulty steadily increases until even the most experienced gamer will be challenged.

 

If you do manage to make it through the entire game, even more challenges await, like the Boss Tent, where you test your skills against all the bosses from Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly Worldfor a chance to win Bronze, Silver, or Gold Yoshi.

Craft Island isn't just sunshine and Smiley Flowers, it's also full of nasty enemies, both old and new:

Poochy is back, and this time, you can actually play as Yoshi's cuddly companion in all-new Poochy Dash stages. Dodge stumps, mush down snowy paths, and unearth hidden shortcuts in a mad dash for beads.

In Poochy Dash, race through several side-scrolling stages, seeking beads and Poochy Pups.

 

 

Discover a new style

Knit yourself a whole new look by finding new yarn patterns and completing levels, then visit the Yoshi Hut to switch your style. You can also design up to 10 personalized Craft Yoshi and share them via the StreePass™ feature.

 

A Yoshi for any Occasion!

 

With a slew of different transformations to choose from, Yoshi can adapt to almost any situation:

 

Mega Yoshi

The giant, unstoppable Mega Yoshi can stomp and tail swipe his way through any obstacle.

Umbrella Yoshi

Open your Umbrella body and ride the wind!

Moto Yoshi

Race through enemies and honk your horn to send them flying!

Mole Yoshi

You'll dig this earthy transformation that lets you burrow through the ground.

Sky Pop Yoshi

Change into the world's cutest airplane and blow your enemies out of the sky.

Mermaid Yoshi

Go for a swim as Mermaid Yoshi and give the bad guys a good soak.
