To get access to minecraft rewards you need to donate towards the sponsor program (you can find more information about sponsors here). The system is pretty weird and awkward right now and we're still figuring out some quirks and how exactly how its going to work, but i believe tf2 donators are going to be integrated in the sponsor system in some way (just don't take my word for it, its still a work in progress). But makes (I think, this is what I've heard) votes on putting himself into buddha/gosh/whatever uber donors get to "protect the hoovies."
