You cant go around saying that you are going to abuse, this is a serious time for xG. People are starting to get pissed off when problems are not being solved. Anything like this can lead people to believe that xG is this laid back clan where you can do anything you want, which is kinda is lol. But you have to make them think its not. Also that ban makes you look bad. But people get banned. You just move on from it. I can see how McNeo doesnt want you to be mod because of it, but really, its not that big of a deal. Overall. You are a good guy who knows the rules. +1

I would just like to add a detail to the rule that changing your name to impersonate the warden/president on this day should be a kickable offence. I was just recently playing CS:S and killed someone who had the wardens name. I was focusing only on him to make it a freeday. I killed who i thought we the president with a bomb and used admin chat to call freeday. The player changed his / her name back after I was kicked by the mod who was the president who was infact still alive saying that I abused. This is impersonating another player already so there should be no problem adding this to the rules.

This thread has been turned into what I would say the most "butt hurt" thread in a while. The only thing that is going on is people fighting with each other. Both of you look bad for argueing. I was recently playing Cliff Hanger, which is the game where you crouch and move as far back as you could would falling off while looking at the ceiling. What I realized was was that the warden did not specify in the beginning how many would live and die judging on how far back they were. Because of this, I would think there could be favoritism involved. The warden could increase or decrease the number who live and die judging upon if there was a friend who was playing it. What I propose is a rule that makes the warden have to specify how many winners will be taken BEFORE the game officially starts. A warden who does not do this will be slayed for it. This applies in many games, such as mystery trivia. The prize should be typed out in CT chat before the question is asked in case the winner is someone the warden likes or dislikes. Now in most cases like surf, climb, race, etc, wardens are used to giving how many will live right in the beginning. Normally right after the Ts start the game. But the problem with this is, is that if a warden looks to see who is out in front or who is struggling the warden can take all winners or only the first 2. Example: There are 8 Ts in Climb. The warden orders all Ts to start climb. The warden's friend is in 4th place. He chooses to take all winners after he notices that his friend is falling is not in the top 3. Thus, his friend lives, and the game is delayed even longer. Any thoughts or improvements upon this rule would be appreciated. (I can post long things just like McNeo!)

Hey everybody. I was just curious as to where on the xg site does it list all of our servers and the ips for them. I know that if i went through the trouble and used up a good 20 minutes or so I could find them all, but should it really be that hard? What I am thinking is that we should have someone on the home page, either a section on the top of the page reserved for the ips of all our servers or on the right side of the page. This will allow new players to come on our website and see all the servers we have a soon as they load the page. @@silence @Aegean!

Hey. Would anyone be willing to help me out by fixing my dolphin gamecube/wii emulator to work with my computer. There is always something that my computer does to fuck with me and I dont know what it is. But what I know is that I WANT TO PLAY SUPER MARIO SUNSHINE! For awhile now players have been saying to drop the unneeded server to save money to keep this from happening but it doesnt work that way. Servers come in packages and you must pay monthly for each one. So AFTER WE PAY BACK THE DEBT HOW BOUT WE GET A SMALLER PACKAGE??? Dedicated Servers for Counter Strike Source Game Servers Theres a 7 server package for $100 and a 14 server package for $200. Those are the only ones I recommend. Now for the debt problem. This is what I recommend. There are many smaller clans out there that only have a few servers. I think we should try to join other clans to expand our reaches. That way, we share the servers, share the advertisment of our clan, and share the cost of owning the servers. If we were to say team up with 2 other clans who have a package of 7 servers each and us with a package of 7 then that would be 21 servers for 1/3 the cost. I know the community is going to have more ideas on this and more questions so please post them all below.

To quickly move away from the subject... I have noticed that really no admin or mod besides me actually does this and if they do I dont see it. None of them say why a person GETS SLAYED! It says in the rules something along the lines of "if the mod/admin does not say why a person was slayed then they may face demotion". This really does bug me too, when ever I am slayed for a reason that I dont understand I have to go through the trouble of getting the mod / admin's attention which can be really hard at times. And I have seen where someone asks a question about it and never gets it answered. Some mods/admins say that "they have to ask first" but it doesnt say that in the handbook and shouldnt. I think that higher ups should start enforcing this rule because new players get angry for suddenly dieing. Most of the time they never read the motd and just leave after being punished. So at some point people need to start saying why, either before or after.

Its up but no one is using it. Maybe because of the tons of shit already on MCMMO people should start on Faction. Im surprised people havent been using it already considering its basically RPG with PvP. Bg, you want to start a city? Im up for it if you are.

It says to read the !motd or be kicked when you join the game. Its their own fault for not reading the rules and then getting punished. I really think someone just needs to fix the screen that comes up when you type !motd. Most people dont realize that you have to scroll down to even see the option to read the motd. Maybe typing !motd should just bring up the rules rather than just having the trouble of trying find the link to it.

I agree with Themick. In some but not all cases you cant tell. Though most mass freekills are on purpose and can be easily identified. For example, if someone runs down the line of Ts shoot randomly for no reason that is a Perma. If they shoot into a stack of Ts for no reason that is a Perma. It all comes down to the REASON they give. If it is logical then a week ban is ok. In most cases where the do it on purpose the CT doesnt even apologize or give a reason why they did it. It is just up to the Mod/Admin to determine the punishment and consulting other Mods/Admins on the ruling should be used if you alone can not determine the punishment.

-1 TBH You are very annoying and disrespectful everytime I hear your voice. I put up with it most of the time because it seems that a good amount of people like you. You can be funny at times but its not worth the trouble. This time you have done something that I thought you would have been mature enough not to do, but yet you still did. I really think you need to grow up a bit before coming back to scrim. Scrim is for our more serious players and hacking on the server gives xG some bad rep. It isnt TS or JB where you can get away with pretty much anything. So until you act more mature my decision will not change.

I think Shake N Bake is completely right. You have done so much shit in the community to piss people off that no one will want to have you unbanned. I have had to slay you multiple times before for free killing and baiting, this time you just landed yourself in a more severe punishment and TBH you deserve it. Im sorry you think otherwise but until you improve in your behavior on our servers the punishment will stay what it is. -1

+1 He very active on forums, more than most mods. He is very mature and I think he is very deserving of mod. Hes kind to others and knows the rules very well.
