So I saw an ad today that's basically a company's way to get people to download their sketchy Chrome/browser extension that probably remembers all your passwords then blackmails you later. However, it wasn't just a normal ad. It was advertising "Pokemon GO: Desktop Version", which to me is hilarious. I can just imagine people downloading it thinking "Well, I don't have a phone, so I guess I'll have to carry my PC tower with me" I believe I may have also found gameplay of such a version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhxvJumgpug

You know more than just Edventures uses the +use ability, right? If it's that much of an issue (which song spamming is on that map) there's a plugin that can load certain configs for certain maps. So when the server loads up Edventures, it'll disable the +use ability. Or you know... removing the map works too ;)

Garfield Kart is what killed TF2, not Overwatch. Garfield Kart has a higher skill ceiling than both and doesn't cost $40+. Want waifus like Overwatch can offer? Well Garfield Kart has you covered. So, I recently acquired 1000 bees from my uncle the other day. I don't like bees, so I traded them for some Steam games of questionable quality and I'm passing the savings (bees) onto you! Ok, so a few things I noticed in some of these replies.... You just defined Spawn camping.... Lets RED out... into BLU spawn? Except that when it comes to map voting, players have tunnel vision. Allow me to explain: A guy who's a known trouble maker gets on the map, nominates Nimbus since he just wants to spawn camp, then when RTV pops up "Hey guys, vote for Nimbus". The problem lies in the fact that most players hit 1. If Nimbus was the first nominated, then it wins. Same with any map. Majority of the time the first one nominated wins. "Just vote for another map" doesn't work when you're the only player who didn't hit 1 by default And usually spawn camping is the cause of this. Also, please list the other maps where people complain. You've said it like 3 times but haven't listed 'em yet. If they're complained more about than Nimbus then they need to be brought up. I know Clock Town is one, also due to spawn camping. As well as Rusty Bucket. I've also noticed you seem to play quite a bit on Clock Town and Nimbus... The only reason I bring this up is that most of the time on these maps, RED has the advantage. The Spawn camping advantage and to quote you: "... doing what I do best. Spawncamping" Moosty just thinks it's strange that people are making accounts just to vote yes on this. One even said "I'll never even use this account". He's only concerned that you're telling people if they want it to stay to vote, but you're not telling the people who want it gone to vote too. For the next few days when I join TGH, I'll be posting the link to this vote so everyone has a chance to vote on it. Plus, it might get a few regulars to join and express their opinion on the rest of our map roster

TTT eh? I used to play it way back. Having an xG server would be pretty fun. I'd love to help out as maybe a Mod though, since I'm already Mod in the TF2 div and might not have the time to both be a Mod and DM. I don't know what your current roster looks like, since the staff list only shows 2 people... As for experience: I used to run my own TF2 server and moderated a Gmod server before I joined xG. I'm also currently a Moderator in the TF2 Division

'cause I play on it whether or not there's spawn camping going on, and I usually play on BLU. It doesn't bug me as much since it's not against the rules and as long as they aren't trying camp in the area inside the doors. The issues can still affect server population though. A lot of people who play don't have a forum account, so they don't quite have a way to express their perspective on it... Which is what I have to listen to while I'm playing... So in a way I guess I'm speaking for them, though nothing's stopping them from doing it themselves.

I'm not gonna vote, but I will put my thoughts on the map: The Spawn Camping: Yeah, it's a bit of an issue. Once you get camped it's VERY hard to break it. "Oh, just one Uber will do the job". Maybe... if like 4 people were camping, but usually it's the entire RED team. "Oh, then just camp your own spawn and they can't camp you". This can usually work, heck I've done it before, but all it takes is a Godmode or Toxic rtd and the whole thing goes down. "Why don't you just spawn camp them then?". They have a teleport spawn, so BLU isn't allowed to camp RED's spawn. You can camp in other areas, but they have multiple ways to leave, unlike BLU spawn. "Then just have everyone go friendly, you dingus!". This works... for about 5 minutes. See, RED wants to kill people, without people to kill they leave, when they leave, server gets empty quick. You see where I'm going with this. "Well Bone, I disagree with you!". That's fine, but this is what happens every time Nimbus is chosen. Refusing to believe it happens doesn't stop it from happening. "But Bone, you're a Mod. Why don't you just do something about it whenever it happens?". Mods can't always be on. Besides, for a Mod to step in it has to be deemed unbreakable, which as you can tell by a lot of these responses "isn't possible" "But Bone, other maps RED can camp. Why is this one worse?". Because BLU can't camp them back. In the other maps they can. If they can't for the same Tele-spawn reason, then there you go. "Well then maybe BLU should just git gud". This isn't a solution, nor is it a good enough excuse for a map that's designed in the RED's favor. The point of the retro looking maps is to go around and go "Hey, I remember this from the old game!", but instead you get "Oh.... I don't remember the part in Mario RPG where you violently explode trying to leave these doors... huh...". It ruins the design of the map, honestly. There are other maps with this flaw, but Nimbus is probably the most well-known. Clock Town also suffers from this issue, and due to the shape of the hallway in BLU spawn it makes it rough to fight back. I had even once built a teleporter that went outside on the sides of the BLU spawn, and RED made it a mission to find and destroy it so we couldn't leave. There are also regulars on TGH who vote for these maps so they can spawn camp. I won't list names, but if you play on TGH you know who they are... Welp, that's just my personal observation on the map and others may see it differently and that's fine. But just think about this, if you enjoyed the map last time you played on it, try to remember if you were on RED.

If it's a problem with the actual plugin, then we'd need to wait for the plugin author to update it. Which they usually do, since FF2 is a pretty popular plugin. If it's a problem with TF2 items or Sourcemod itself, then it'll be fixed even quicker

Honestly, I feel the rule needs to be updated to be a bit more specific. Gray areas like that can make it rough for a person to moderate a certain rule. In fact, the other day I asked a guy to remove his spray on the Pokemon server that contained nudity. He said he'd been using it forever and no staff told him it wasn't allowed, and there's constantly staff on Pokemon. I just feel like people could attempt to use the "PG-13" rule as a way to loophole something, as someone could spray something that could be against the rules and respond with "Ayy, it's PG-13". Then threads like this begin again Oh and the rule currently contradicts itself. PG-13 movies can contain nudity. So it's saying "It can contain nudity, but no nudity" Maybe the rule should be changed to "Sprays cannot contain: Sexually suggestive material, Nudity, Racism..." you get the idea

I've always enforced the spray rule. In fact, I just punished a guy on surf who continuously sprayed a heavily pornographic spray after being told to change it/not spray it. Honestly I feel like it's because it's ponies, not just suggestive, that people had more of a reaction to it. I've seen sprays where Mods/Admins are OK with because it's Tracer from Overwatch, but if it were a FnaF character then everybody would go nuts. Either way, both shoulda been removed if Vexx deemed one to be inappropriate when the other was similar

I don't mean to sound insensitive, but I can't take this seriously at all. You were muted before for 5 mins, and made an abuse report on that. When you do something wrong you try to pin it on the staff that punished you like they're the one who was in the wrong. In one day you went from getting punished, reporting that punishment as abuse, demanding an apology from the staff that punished you, going full on anti-xG, saying you're sorry, getting in trouble again and getting banned, harassing a staff member who didn't even ban you, taking back your apology, and now I don't even know what you're trying to do. If you're actually sorry, try changing your attitude on the servers and here on the forums. If not, don't come on here trying to start trouble

I was, so I can add context 1. Funny how you only recorded after you got muted. You know, after you were telling the entire server to vote mute a guy just because you didn't like his voice, then proceeded to get muted for calling him a "faggot" over mic 2. The guy who was using slurs was gagged by me shortly afterwards, so yes it was taken care of 3. The guy getting slapped sure is strange, considering I was there when this happened and my chat wasn't spammed with the usual "[sM] Player was slapped". Me and Snowy were the only Mods on and neither of us did so

+1 Knows rules, enforces them if he can and does something other players who have made staff submissions don't do, actually use !calladmin He doesn't just sit on the server and go "rulebreakers lol never any staff here I should be mod lol" He actually uses !calladmin, friend invited tons of staff to message if there's a problem, and even got Steam IDs of people who were causing trouble before staff even showed up to help He shows a lot of potential as a staff member, and can definitely be an asset to the clan
