On the topic of slurs themselves, I personally see no benefit to using words like forementioned, unless you are trying to start a disruption in the population. In this case, we can likely shut that down immediately, since disrupting the community and starting a "mutiny" isn't really accepted (speaking on a specific case that all rooted from one word). I apologize for attempting to be all diplomatic, but realistically those that cannot function in a community without demeaning other's shouldn't be in that community. However, trying to ban every word that exists in the world that has this type of power is evidentally extremely difficult, and of course we will see complaints such as how "limiting" it is. In this case, I propose making the rule(s) that deal with these terms "derogatory terms are not allowed," plain and simple since those who want to "rebel" against it will have to find new reasoning, and everyone else is (we can only hope) satiated.
I rephrase, the only point to defending the use of such words is essentially to be contrary, which is only fun for those who find fun in defying structure. This means that they will attempt to use and defend slurs and tabooed words to fight against "the system". Banning and restricting the use of these taboos will seem to only start more avid arguments in the future, again only to be contrary. It is alot easier to do your job as staff when the very rules you uphold are described specifically. Our rules on slurs/derogatories specifically and disrespect generally are "Racism is not allowed. Disrespect, harassment or trolling is not tolerated and may result in a punishment. Trolling is unallowed. (The definition of trolling is to the discretion of the moderator, and can include intentionally being annoying, antagonizing players, impersonation of staff members, spoiling the ending of games or movies, etc.)".  This leaves alot of option on what isn't allowed and what is up to personal discretion, which isn't the most trustworthy or respected at times, so revising it would define a clearer image of "don't say this". Makes most everyone's life easier.
+1 to revising the rules that speak of disrespect/combining them.
Neutral on banning any specific term(s).

In my personal opinion, I think that you would make a good staff member since you have the experience and time in the community with standard maturity and friendliness. There is no doubt in my mind that you would get staff - had your activity been not a strikingly problematic concern. You seem to have moments where you appear for a few weeks or so with exceedingly high numbers of hours, but then you suddenly disappear and don't play for months. This simply cannot happen as staff, and let me just reiterate again how you have a very high chance of getting staff if your activity was to a good standard. As it stands, you lack the hours and commitment, which makes it appear like you don't particularly care enough for staff. If you get your activity up ASAP, I will definitely look towards you getting staff, but for now it's a -1 unfortunately, as much as I don't want to do it.
Good luck, and don't let this dishearten you. Get your hours up bud.

Uber Upgrades, during when Tuna was still mod, whenever I killed him, I spammed "lel". Instead of warning me, he proceeded to get upset at me and near insult me downright, infront of other servergoers.
Pokemon Trade, before he was mod. Being disrespectful to many players that killed him and was unpleasing to be around.
As I said, he has definitely changed and I'm more than settled on giving him a positive vouch. Examples seem unnecissary when I'm intent on being positive.
Also, what grammatical error is there in my post? If you want to give me bad ratings to lower my rank, at least be upfront about it.

Having aia to have fun with rapid fire weapons for a brief period at the start of the map is not a detrimental matter in anyway, but neither is not having it. Really it could go either way and make little difference. There is no reason to disable it entirely though due to a problem caused by only one aspect of it being used by some people some of the time.
Earrape isn't something fun to deal with, but in terms of it being allowed or not, this is something incredibly easy to categorize as trolling due to intentionally causing irritation to the rest of the server. Again though considering how minor having this available really is there's not much reason not to just cut it off from the source to prevent this issue in the first place so long as that doesn't involve ruining the unharmful aspects that aia offers.
Advanced infinite ammo at the start of the round will not be disabled.
Infinite Demoman shield recharge has been disabled.

The definition of an exploit is a tool or action designed to take advantage of a feature of a system that is not defined by its intended use. I don't see how this is not an exploit, if you could enlighten me I would appreciate it because I may just be missing something. And you seem to be missing my point still that people are bound to that platform for enough time to get upset. Now, even if this is being too sensitive to it, we are a community server.
I want to draw attention to that because with how I see it, to thrive as a clan and as a family of servers, it is then in our  best interests to do what best appeases the community. Keeping the demo charge is at best a neutral trait for the server unless people are saying "Hey, we should go to those xG servers for the first 30 seconds of the map to demo charge into a corner", and in most other ways just a negative trait if people aren't happy about it. We rely on the community for funding, population, and general environment.
TLDR/Seg is stupid and doesn't make sense: We don't loose anything in the grand scheme of things by disabling demo charge AIA but if we don't, we possibly run the risk of loosing server population from the players that are as you said - crying - about it

If your version of interesting is anything except normality then yes, I agree. Otherwise, because its a simple fix and no reason to keep it in other than the minority wanting it, why not remove it?
I agree, 100%. Except, there's not a correspondence between an expected loudness and an unexpected disruption of peace. The disruption of the peace is a real life law, though that does not correlate.

Its pretty hard to locate who exactly is doing it (due to teams, time spent loading in and unable to look around, multiple demo's exploiting this, etc.) most of the time so its hard to warn people as far as i'm aware.
Unless I'm mistaken, voice chat and game sound are in a mono channel with each other so its hard to verbally warn players (as pointed out earlier in the original post) due to the sound going over the same channel at a similar volume. A text warning is possible but as stated at the top of this reply, its hard to locate the players doing it so its inherently hard to pinpoint and address and if it is addressed/punished it could open up a conflict where players could argue "why didn't the X team's demo get in trouble for it???" which is a fair argument and IMO just puts the staff in a poopty position.
also I don't see the point of taking personal shots at people. I made this as a serious thread so please keep relevant to the servers, not the people voicing their thoughts on the matter

I guess I should also say that while your points are correct, there isn't a full reason for us to not remove a minor annoyance. Why should we keep an annoyance in the servers if its annoying?
If there is no real benefit to the exploit, then why even bother defending it? There is no benefit I can see other than "lol lets trigger people by being loud".
The only reason I see for you arguing to keep this functioning is for the sake of arguing.

There isn’t a way for the charge to be harmful considering it’s mostly done in the farthest corner of spawns, and that anyone is physically able to walk away or simply move slightly to hear. There is literally no way for it to stem something worse since it’s pretty cut and dry. There is also no way for it to be game ruining since majority of players do not even load in for the full 20 seconds and the map resets everyone back to spawn and wasd frozen. The chance of something happening in that time span is slim to none, you can’t even finish any of the surf maps in that time.

If I remember correctly, at the start (very beginning, everyone was frozen) of a round of surf_toast, you and others were doing said exploit, meaning that this is invalid as well.
As for the overall vote, +1 for removal since it is an exploit. This means it is somewhat against rules, and since it is also spam it is more "harmful" than other exploits, meaning it has the potential to be game ruining. Not saying that is the case now, but if it evolves into something worse, there will be worse consequences.
And something strange I see is that people are calling it "fun" to do this. How in any way, shape, or form is being obnoxiously loud in an exploit for the soul purpose of rebelling against server constructs fun?
