You micspam'd many times in the past, were very confrontational towards staff of all sorts and usually got aggressive when told about it, kept picking up that sign after being slayed and being warned alongside the person who originally had it, then micspammed and chatspammed more with multiple staff watching just a bit ago. Not to mention first thing you do is go to the shoutbox and spam it with a meme before making this. You were told many times you were on thin ice and yet you kept doing it yet your reasoning is that you were paid to do it? That doesn't change anything. I may have been a bit harsh just a bit ago when warning you, but I really tried to give you numerous chances, having just muted you a few days ago among warning you multiple times about the behavior in the past. -1

I'd like to remind people not to resort to petty insulting and flaming or it's just going to make a bigger mess of things. Try to keep it civil please.

When you take into consideration we keep certain people permed for things that happened years ago here or there depending (and I'm not talking about people who did really heinous things) then having someone's ban history carry over from years ago isn't exactly much further off, especially if they haven't changed much and the most you hear about them is that they're frequently a troublemaker for the hell of it from older players- also could see this myself during some of the times I was on while Brian was on. I'd honestly say yes probably if it was intentional- if you really didn't learn your lesson or change within two years then why would you receive a more lax punishment?

Inconsistencies are a given since we're not a hive mind, best we can do is shoot for things to be as consistent as possible among the staff body. If we started allowing people to use slurs in a non-malicious way, that'd just pave the way for further problems when people using them in 'wrong' ways start bashing us for punishing them but not others just casually tossing them around. It'd probably just also lead to people abusing this in other ways as well. Things work as they are, and I'd much rather be in a policed server than one that's just left to fend for itself or is very lax after being on a few others.
