evading punishment could be leaving the server before and admin issues punishment. it could also be that you hacked on your alt account (which in your previous ban protest thread, you stated you used an alt), then came back on your main account which is considered evading punishment.

I can't really speak for how you performed as a staff member in the TF2 division since I wasn't exactly playing TF2 while you were staff, but I can say that what I've seen over Discord has been more or less positive. That being said, I have seen certain situations where you might have a little trouble keeping your cool- something you've already acknowledged, which at least demonstrates a level of maturity. It's not unusual to have a staff member show poor judgement, but I feel like if you're just a little more careful than most with keeping your cool it would do the Discord some justice to have you keeping an eye on the server since you pretty much read it all day.
As a previous Discord moderator, I can assure you that the bot will suck major dick and learning how to use it will be a pain in the ass (pretty sure none of the staff members actually know how to use this one anyway, so try and be the first). If you're up to actually learn how to use the bot and you can handle upping the maturity when you're dealing with people, then +1. Just make sure not to join in on arguments, take care of them if they get out of hand. Not all arguments are bad, some are healthy and it's really up to the discord staff to discern whether or not they should step in. Generally this role is ridiculed much more than others, at least from what I've seen and personally experienced so growing some thick skin will be a big help. Please don't turn into a lurker staff member who forgets that they have discord powers.

This is the main reason why I dont agree with a ban at this time. Yeah, he behaves like an edgy, angsty raging teenage shithead, but there are members who've been given a second (dare I say third) chance. 
 
Official warnings should be dispensed from now on and not only verbal. 

While his toxicity warrants some sort of warning, I feel that a ban is disproportionate to what he's actually doing. If we held this precedence of members getting banned for these levels of toxicity, we would ban every person who's had a bad day or two. Also, jumping straight to a ban seems a little unwarranted when he has no discord warnings whatsoever. While I know he's received numerous verbal warnings, he isn't a person who has, say, 5+ pages of warnings like some members do. 
In conclusion, banning someone outright seems unwarranted, when they have received little to no warnings whatsoever. While his actions still warrants a warning, I feel his actions have been blown out of proportion. I would warn him, and if he is to continue for an extended period of time, a ban would be warranted.
 
 

From what I've seen from the argument @Tatost presented, it clearly shows Crow being extremely hostile. However, I must admit, arguing back with him in a matched hostile manner at first definitely didn't help the situation. I feel as though people need to keep their cool when enforcing rules, otherwise it escalates the situation when it's not necessary. I understand it can be frustrating sometimes, but keeping a level head gives you the upper hand if some kind of ban request (or something similar) were to come of it.
I would like to see further evidence before providing a vouch, though I feel as though some form of action should be taken, should further evidence be shown.
Please remember to include evidence in the original post in the future.

I think warnings should be put in place first rather than a ban, but I don't know if he's been warned at all so correct me if I'm wrong. 
It takes two people to continue an argument. I think the problem is that a lot of us will majorly disagree with anything he says, and have a hard time ending an argument that will just never end. However, if the argument leads to insults/toxicity, warnings should be put in place.

This may be the dumbest thread I've seen in a while. Heavy -1. You gonna ask to disable the market gardener too? There isn't really any reason to disable this. It's just the market gardener on demo.

I wouldn't enforce anything that's too lengthy or strict, because we can't forget that moderating our servers isn't a job, it's volunteer work. They don't get paid to spend their time on the servers dealing with jackasses, it really wouldn't be fair to them if we try to enforce lengthy hours on top of their everyday regime. I'm not saying that there shouldn't be a time "requirement", but just try to keep in mind that the staff do what they do because their nice enough to devote some of their free time to helping out the community. Whatever you guys think is suitable will probably be fine, but don't think people don't want to do real life things too.
