  1. After a back and forth discussion lasting several weeks between myself and @Tekk, as well as other higherups, we've come to the conclusions necessary to make several decisions, as listed below: Firstly, there is now a TF2 server pop role on discord thanks to @virr (and a few weeks of pestering), so feel free to use that at your leisure rather than waiting for pop events! Second, in order to refine the previously random and loose schedule to Pop Events, we've also decided the following: Population Events will take place every Monday. Population Events will now offer more meaningful rewards once per month as part of a rare and randomly decided giveaway, such as a modified donor rank, custom title vouchers, and a title exclusive to the rare giveaways mentioned. Lastly, there will soon be updates to the structure of the TF2 servers in order to strengthen their population, as well as increase the enjoyment for those who play on our servers. Tekage or myself will be willing to answer any questions or comments, etc. below.
  2. The Trouble in Terrorist's Town server, like all other GMod servers, follow the General Garry's Mod Server Rules found here, in addition to the General Community Rules found here. Portal Gun Rules: The Portal Gun follows general rules of RDM. Do not use it to randomly kill people with no reasoning. Do not use it to escape the map boundaries at any point. No creating traps to trap people (i.e. in other players, inside a wall, etc.) When spectating, do not possess props in order to kill people. KOS Rules: You cannot KOS others without a legitimate reason (unless you're a traitor), such as being shot or someone having a traitor weapon without being proven. Some non-legitimate reasons to KOS, and instead are potentially only suspicious, include but are not limited to the following: Refusing to test Scoping in with a sniper rifle Following people around Otherwise non-KOS-able but suspicious actions Potential future rules will be added to this thread when the need arises. 3. hi there Since it's been 4 months or so since the last Overwatch Community Night, a group of people including myself have wanted another one to happen. Since I've been hounding @virr to do something about it (love u daddy), I asked @Lithium about it and we need some new gamemode ideas, which is why I'm making this thread. So with our combined brainpower we can come up with some pretty mediocre-at-worst(/best) gamemodes. To make sure we don't repeat any gamemodes, here are the ones we already have: One Shot Hanzos D.VA Mech Fights Paintball Reinhardt Bumper Cars Tiny Torblets Goomba Stomp Monkeys Necromancer Mercy (courtesy tag to regular participants and overwatch players @Shadower @Egossi @bagel @Tatost @Healix @Kypari @BonfireCentipede definitely missed some)
  4. Alright guys, we've been thinking for a bit on doing a sort of a competitive event for our TF2 division. Both teams will consist with members and regulars to include everyone who'd be interested! First things first, if you don't know what Highlander is, it's a 9v9 format where there is one player for each class. One scout, one soldier, one pyro, etc., etc... We'll be trying to make teams as balanced as possible so don't go thinking you can stack teams with the kings of the servers. If we get a big enough of a turnout, we could do more than two teams and have a bracket, so invite your friends that are regulars or members on the server. Alright, if you want to join in on the fun please post down below with this template- Name: SteamID64: Class Roles: Times are to be decided as of yet, but will most surely be over the weekend and past our exam study times and such. We'll try and make the time open to everyone who enters the event, good luck guys! JUST REMEMBER: this is all for fun and not to be taken seriously.
