LeopoldTheBrave1520725340 0 Posted October 13, 2015 I was on the server today just chatting with a few nice gentlemen. One thing we all seemed to have in common was the map selection. Not enough variety and the same 3 maps get played too often. So here are just a few new maps I found and recommend that aren't already on the server. These are VERY good and very well made maps! I wouldn't recommend anything cheaply made XD We really do need more well made maps for the server. All that gets played is cyberpunk, clocktown, and airstrip. Also the maps are like 90% Nintendo. There are other game companies too! Sound balance issues give migraines. We've had this one before and it was removed. I'm down to try Nuketown. Not a fan of Pacfortress. Map isn't that good. Didn't we use to have Whomp Fortress? Was it good? Did it have problems? We used to have a portal map, but I think this one is different. Kokiri Forest looks neat. Let's try it. Lavender might be good for the Pokemon server. They all look really good except for pacman and darktower. They look wayy too black and dark. I really want to see the kokiri and portal ones on the server. I swear we had peaches castle before and it got removed due to the worst spawnroom ever. You'd spawn outside in the open and it was so easily camped. That wasn't the reason it was removed, spawn camping is allowed (and thank god it is). It was removed because you could crash the server if enough people played Pyro. Peach - No, only has one spawn which is a clusterfuck. Dark Tower - Possibly (leaning towards no), it's a CTF map. Unless @Moosty @Rejects @metalslug53 @kbraszzz want to change the server so it's trade and rotation, it will be a no. Aquatic Ruins - Same as Dark Tower, it's a koth map. CTR N.Gin Labs - Possibly, it's a mario kart map. Same reason as Dark Tower. Metal Gear Solid - No, it's a generic arena map. Nuketown - Possibly, appears to be koth (you can see the control point on the screenshot). Pac-Man - No, it's a generic CP map. Whomp Fortress - Possibly, looks pretty small. It's VSH (aka koth), so same reason as Dark Tower Portal - Yes, it's a trade map. Might be interesting. Kokiri Forest - Possibly, it's a payload map. Same reason as Dark Tower. Lavender Town - No, it's a pointless map that I already tested with Rhodo. It has no buildings to go in, not to mention the CP. It's also horribly optimized. There were also missing textures there The creator of The OoT Hyrule map said he uploaded a new version of the map which addresses these issues, and fixed the pyro crash thing. And said that the missing textures in the water are just a common source bug if you loaded another map with custom water before hyrule, in this case, can be fixed by restarting the game. ._.
