Most updates will be posted in this thread. Some backend changes or cvar changes will not be posted.

 

Jailbreak

  • Removed debug printing in class
  • Reverted open command to be admins only
  • Fixed bug where the open command would not show the admin who would use it
  • Damaging players will no longer have potential to spam console
  • Grenades now have velocity when dropped (I think)
  • Funcommands now require the reserved flag
     
  • Tasers are automatically removed to prevent crashes. I'll look more into this this weekend.
  • Fixed bug where the guard leave queue would fail to remove players from CT
  • Markers are now red and animated.

    • Heavy armor balancing
      • Now gives armor + helmet
      • Changed damage modified from .85 to .80

  • Pre-Last CT sound ("One man left!") is now louder (2.0 instead of 1.0)
  • Added new method of announcing new wardens. Requires "gameinstructor_enable" to be set to 1.

  • !w no longer works unless both VoiceHook2 and voiceannounce_ex are disabled
  • Guard is now using a new method to swap teams. This might fix players dying while being swapped.
  • Moving players from T to CT randomly should now actually be random
  • Added Late Night jailbreak
    • Starts at 11 PM Central time, and ends at 6 AM
    • Bombs cost less
    • Last CT is a bit more deadly
    • Roll The Dice is cheaper, and CTs can use it
    • If you remember from CS:S, rules are more lax. In CS:S, this also included allowing mass abuse. Abuse will result in removal of powers.

You might have heard about Valve banning servers for custom content. It has been recently clarified that this was for falsifying player's inventories. We are able to use custom viewmodels and custom player models. The current plans for a super secret project totally not hub will continue as normal.

This directly says that custom models and weapon skins that are not valve-created are allowed. Its immediately followed by

Do mods that provide custom knives or weapons fall under these same restrictions when the items are only visible to the player holding the weapon?

Yes. Regardless of who can see the items, mods should not generate/simulate items that are not owned by a player.

Plugins that modify a players viewmodel are generating items that are not owned by the player. Until this is clarified, we won't continue work with custom viewmodels.

  • When you're automatically swapped from CT, you're automatically placed at the front of the queue
  • During a predator day, when Last CT is enabled, the Last CT has his screen fade removed and FOV reset.
  • When a CT dies during predator day, the screen fade is reset
  • Fixed glitch where players couldn't use falchion knives and shadow daggers during predator days
  • Increased intensity of screen fade during predator day (100 to 70, lower is more intense)
     
  • Lowered FOV of CTs during predator day (145 to 135)
  • Increased sensitivity of gun spam protection (from triggered by 4 drops in a second to 4 drops in 2 seconds)
  • Increased amount of time before players are allowed to drop guns after being spam protected (5 seconds to 7 seconds)
  • During late night allow players to RTD at any time
  • Increased time players are allowed to RTD (30 seconds into the round to 45 seconds into the round)
  • Fixed glitch where Ts would get the pistol in their loadout instead of the map gun (Having a loadout using p2000 and picking up a usp would give them a p2000)

  • BouncyBullets now correctly adds velocity change to old velocity
  • HP Regen base price increased to 10 (from 5)
  • Exp earning changes to make killing higher level players more rewarding
    • Increased max exp per kill to 100 (from 50)
    • Kill exp decreased to 3*player level (from 10)
    • Assist exp decreased to 1*player level (from 2)

Note: The first DB reset will be 3/15/16 and will occur every 2 months after.

    • Right click to heal others.
    • Heals 50 hp.
    • Interrupted by swapping weapons or either person being hurt.
    • For now, All CTs spawn with one.
