    i chose .org as a personal preference but there are heaps of ways to advertise your servers by just going to play others with the xG tags etc play good, play fair, play nice and people will notice and say hey what is xG and you will tell them.

     

    I know you said ignore the costs etc but do you really need to pay more money to switch to .com when you can be using that money for other things e.g servers

    I recently downloaded CSS on my laptop. The only problem is when I go into a server that I must download a map for, it doesn't download. It stays at 0% in the loading screen. I can, however, play on pre-existing maps (cs_assault, de_dust, etc.)

     

    Does anyone know the answer to this problem?

     

    Console:

    ConVarRef sm_hub_version doesn't point to an existing ConVar

    SetConVar: No such cvar ( sm_hub_version set to 1.0.1), skipping

    Things I have tried:

    -Restart Computer

    -Re-install CSS

    -Search Google

    -Deleted cstrike folder

    -Waited for it to load

    -Sit on my laptop

     

    have you tried manually downloading the map say from gamebanana or any other site and then trying see what happens.

    Do you know if they are planning to or is this purely speculation.

     

    only time will tell but untill then try help out admins and mods as much as you can feel free to add me and if my friends list is full on steam send me a message here on the site and ill delete someone just for you so you can feel special.

    I say we install/create a free-cam spectate plugin, then all our admin'ing stress will be slashed greatly.

    A freecam would make moderator life so much easier...

    I would love for that to happen. Since i became mod i have had to perm a couple of mass freekillers and teamban another few then when u get ratio thats messed up and people keep closing opening cells its hard to tell whos doing it. we need freecam its a must.

    Well congrats on the kid, King. On a more serious matter the server is in desperate need of more admins, early this morning was pure chaos.

     

    LOL i wish im only 19 i meant its fathers day so i had to do all the jobs while my dad relaxed XD went out for lunch and dinner

    What about when the admins/mods are just being jerks and abusing their power?

     

    well you can always record a demo or tell a higher up admin and their powers get removed not hard. I am sure we listen to the commmunity

    Hey all

     

    King here if you do end up reading this please reply and get your say on your own thoughts about the jailbreak server.

     

    I just wanted to know what can be changed what rules you guys like what you don't like.

     

    What are your favourite maps.

     

    How do you play jb e.g Do you rebel alot, Do you like to go CT and warden.

     

    just to name a few things

     

     

    As you all know cs:go is pretty glitchy still and most plugins are not working properly so give us admins some slack when we are on. It takes time to deal with pesky freekillers and general rule breakers.

    so that when people !guard they wont stack the teams.

     

    I think a 1:2 CT:T would be better considering some T's don't always listen..

     

    well each server does have its own ratio but still i am seeing more cts then t's some times ratio does it job

    maybe we need to add more slots into the server since when the t team is full people have no choice but to join ct and they most likely do not know the rules.

    Yes mister Aussie

     

    Just a few ideas that might improve your server to the best it can be.

     

    I come from a Aus jb server and some ideas that could help the pesky free killers and such can have a !cp command

    for the Xenogamers members say each member is given the opportunity to use cp but people who are not a member cannot so they cant abuse the system.

     

    !cp commands can be like

     

    voteban

    votectban

    votekick

    votemutedead

    votemute (person)

     

    this way when no admins are on we can still have a fun experience while playing.

     

    Some more ideas include adding a rule

    must have a mic to CT if not can result in 120 min ct ban or something along the lines

    because lets face it you cant do any orders without a mic.

     

    You guys also need a ratio system so that the ct team never stacks e.g

     

    for every 1 CT there will be 3 T's

    so that when people !guard they wont stack the teams.

     

    Maybe some server messages will help telling people they must type !guard to join the ct team

    also add !rules into it so it brings up the motd again instead of having to rejoin to read the rules.

     

    Maybe implement something i used for my old jailbreak server its called the !whitelist

     

    when people type that they are sent to these forums where people would have to answer a few questions about jailbreak so they can understand the rules. Then a jailbreak admin will mark the test and if they complete it they would be allowed to !guard ( this is only a suggestion so yeah)

     

     

    If you think any other ideas can go towards making a better jb future for everyone post here.

    I recently moved to cs go and found your jailbreak server.

     

    I love jailbreak for many reasons, its laid back easy going and you can have a fun time playing with all sorts of people
