My video card (XFX Radeon 6870) supports 4 monitors, but to use more than 2 the additional monitors need to be plugged into a MiniDisplayPort. So, my current config has 1 monitor in DVI, projector in HDMI, and 2 monitors in MiniDP. I have 2 Active MiniDP to DVI adapters for those two monitors. A while ago I had one fail, it would disconnect the monitor that was plugged into i and cause all kinds of display issues. I got the adapter replaced and it worked fine again for weeks, until it started to happen again. I've used these adapters for over a year with no problem, but now all of a sudden it is. The video card could be an issue too, of course, but it shows no other signs of problems and it's never overheated and it still benchmarks great and all that. Has anyone had similar problems with MiniDisplayPorts and Active adapters? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
