McNeo 3 Posted December 17, 2012 I've been toying with this for some time, and, it should work... I'm making a Steam Client replacement. Because of the way Steam authenticates it needs to be added as a "Non-Steam Game" to your game list, the you launch it from there. Within the client you see your game list, friends list, and a chrome-based web browser including the Steam store. The client has it's own in-game overlay but is infinitely faster than Steam's native one. The chat feature of the client is compatible with Steam's protocol so you can still message friends who use the native Steam chat. Oh, and the overlay includes a Facebook and Twitter stream, gMail email stream, adjustable opacity, and the chat client is also compatible with Facebook chat, Google Talk, MSN, and Yahoo. I may have something released soon-ish. Anyone have any ideas for this?

McNeo 3 Posted December 17, 2012 Teamspeak already has it's own overlay options. It's a possibility, I honestly haven't even looked into any APIs they may have, I can check it out.
