Game modes

I know I've mentioned this quite a while ago, but I'll bring it up again.

 

Some game modes tend to get dry to some after time. As far as CS:S is concerned I'd say that, on average, our most popular servers are (in no special order): jb, mg, and surf. I know we had a zombie server too at some point back in the day, and even that game mode can get dry.

 

Any chance of getting a good 'ol plain-jane stock standard regular CS:S server? Good 'ol hosties and bomb/defuse?

 

What's everyone's thoughts on this?

I know of a few Rotation servers (NoobGalore, SG) that are pretty popular. I'd go for this, but we'd have to have guys willing to help populate it.

 

Also, I don't think I've ever seen anyone in slide race or DM Surf, which is sad, because I absolutely love those gamemodes.

I will attempt to get those 2 servers populated and see if we can't increase numbers, but in the meantime, a rotation server does sound like a good bit of fun.

I'm sure xG had a pub server several times but i do support for a pub, just need the people to play in it daily or so! i recommend a 16k pub rotation with several map several unpopular map removed from it and 2 awp a team!

Ive been preachin a pub server for a year and a half now. We had one for a month maybe then it got shut down (idk why), i still support it 100% as long as its modded properly (rankings, 1-2 awp per team, no ff, etc). free frag network had a great pub server up for a while with similar rules up.
