Unwarranted ban and slay

I was CT, saw Tarin running toward an open vent inside vent cell. I accidentally free shot (but not killed) him. I was slayed, I think because he got angry that someone saw him, and caught him running toward open vent; understandable. I believed he was attempting to enter it.

 

I asked him if the rules stated that freeshooting (not killing) accidentally was immediate grounds for a CT slay. He ignored my question, told me to shut up. I asked him again, where specifically in the server Jailbreak rules that this supposed item was stated. He then banned me from the server.

 

I know people with admin privileges feel a responsibility to maintain the server rules, but in this case I think he was angry that he was injured while playing, that someone caught him, then was angry that someone would call him out on his fallacious made-up claim.

 

He seems to not respect other players' right to ask a questions, either.

 

I have read the rules, all of them, repeatedly, and no where is there a mention of "accidentally free-shooting (but not killing) an inmate is immediate grounds for slay and ban from the server."

 

Perhaps he thinks he has the right to ban people wildly from the server for merely asking questions?

 

My problem isn't that I was slayed, necessarily. My problems are that:

 

1) Tarin is making up rules, then claiming they are justified and written on forums.

2) Tarin is abusing his privileges of authority by dishing out bans when people call him on his false claims.

2) You're over exaggerating it when you say "Wild bans" it was 1 day for disrespect, you didn't let tarin show he side of the story, just made claims.

You intentionally freeshot me. You hit me 5 times - that's no accident. I slayed you. You professed you shot at me because I was in the vent cell running around before orders to vacate. You then started to argue with me. I asked you to stop. You didn't. I kicked you. You came back and started disrespecting me. I banned you.

 

No proof, please close. (I think I owe Pyro 5$ for there being no proof, right?)

Seeing this, i'm sure you wouldn't have accidentally free shot him but intentionally shoot him warning him not to enter.. I see no reason why you would actually accidentally free shoot someone you see running toward a vent cell. Your story does not seems all so true, but seeing how there isn't any evidence of abuse the story can be anything. We're sorry but nothing can be done without proof because many people have tried to twist the story and leave stuff out / make things up just to get that 1 mod/admin demoted.
