New Server Idea!!!!!

Gladiator

 

Alright, now this may be a bad idea or a good idea, but we don't know till we try it.

 

Now back when i played Halo 3 and Reach, i had a gamemode and map called, "Gladiator". This is how it works:

 

• At least 16-32 players possibly
• Each player gets 1 life
• Each player has only a knife
• Everyone faces 1 other player separately
• Whoever wins faces a different player who won in another separate map
• Ends up to 2 players fighting each other

 

Miscellaneous ( Maybe add some these )

 

• Added surf, bhop, maze, puzzles, etc.
• Different rooms have different settings; Console wise
• Winner gets to choose special options for winning ( I dont know what the options would be, possibly suggestions from you guys)

 

Rules and Added Settings for the afk, immature, etc.:

• Two people may NOT enter the next room together
• Kill blocks spawn after 1-2 minutes on first floors

 

I dont know what else could be added but its an idea. This would probably have to get more popular over time so people start making Gladiator maps. You guys should post some ideas that could be added to this.

I like the idea, except for one thing, in a 32-64 players server, If you die first round or second round, wouldn't you have to wait quite some time until someone finally wins?

And waiting for too long is annoying.

You make a good point. The solution could be is to either make a losers pit so you get redeem yourself, or make 2 servers so that way it can be a bit less waiting time.
