The symbols were hi-jacked by the Christians to try to get people to convert from Paganism to Christianity. The largest hi-jacked symbol is the Christmas Tree, originally also used for Pagan (mainly druid) festivals sometimes to represent life and growing. This thread sparks religious conflicts and I demand it be closed right away. Also, this ^ I will say, however, that I hate a lot of ham and cheesy potatoes today - so that's always good.
