I agree with Ducki. I really think that there are some basic steps that need to be taken in order to organize the fast growing xG community:

 

- We need to establish various levels with the xG community. Not just have Admins, Senior Members, and Members, but rather have multiple divisions within these categories.

 

- We must then establish a committee who's primary goal is to oversee promotions of members. I believe that the scrutiny must be open to the public. Not having any real power in the xG community (even though I think I'd make a good admin), I have come to realize that a lot of the misconduct occurs when admins are not online. Therefore, allowing the public to provide their input with do two things:

 

a). mature individuals will compromise the majority of the higher xG positions - ensures that the person who is to be promoted normally behaves appropriately when he or she is not being watched

b). increases the popularity of the server - friendly players will be more likely to earn the respect of others and will therefore be more likely to receive a promotion. This representation of favourable players will ensure that xG is positively represented.

 

- We must also make these rankings available to the public. This will both create an incentive for people to want to be promoted and also make those aware that they are not the higher power (will help prevent abuse of power).

 

Btw, I love this server, but I also feel that there are somethings that should be improved.

 

Racisms is vast in this server - something that's fairly distasteful and becomes a breeding ground for immature individuals.

 

When I say that I really like this server, I also want to mention that I am extremely interested in becoming an Admin. (i'm ranked 3rd in the server).
