Ah! tricky! ok, truthfully when i first started this thread i had absolutely no intentions of becoming or striving to be an admin. But after many ppl in the unofficial community (jailbreak server) told me they would prefer me as an admin over the majority of admins who at the time occupied the server around the end of page 4/beginning of page 5 my feelings began to change. Although i feel as tho at this point in time being an admin would be nice.... and i have poke ideas here and there suggesting it, it's still not a priority. But what is is creating balance. And since i started this thread so much has changed on the jailbreak server that the lack of admin is really not the same issue it once was. Btw, AGAIN to set the record strait i've been jail breaking for the last 3 years of my life and let the record be set strait weather or not i've been an official poster or member on the sight, i've seen and watched the xG jailbreak server grow from when it was less that 8 ppl just fooling around every night....

Sam, if was never admin... i would still feel he same way i do now. No one came he looking to become an admin, we all come he looking for admins. It appears to me that the leadership role one might see in those who look for change is also shown in the possible leadership of a community or group. Now the fact the you keep referring back to the denial of potential admins shows not that we shouldn't be here, or are asking for admin ship.... but that you are unhappy with the change were possibly bringing about. Furthermore, while on the jailbreak server i never instructed anyone to "nominate" me as so i can become an admin. On the other hand both in server chat and off I did attempt to spread word of this thread as well as the 'nominating admins' because it so prevalent to those who have absolutely no connection to the xG fourms, yet enjoy playing on the server and are looking for the same change. All my comments, mentions, and responses are not written for me to receive admin. There written to help the community grow, prosper and stablise just as it should.

@duckii - Oh ok, that works.... and what me an jonnymcg mean is people who have never even visited the fourms or site wear the [xG] tag so they will get a little respect....

u need to script it so the t starts out with the gun.... if it still bothers u theres a hosties addon (i'll try and find it) that forms a cage around both parties so the game takes up a limited... but inescapable space.

@Sam Sam, in no way am i asking for admin, bet there are others like me out who are far more involved thank you may think. Last bight i had a total of 14 different chats open while jailbreaking.... most of them were being used to perciute a unjust killing @Sprinkles your toatallly right

Hey guys, perhaps i'm not the proper person to start this but until told otherwise i hostly see no reason not to. Basically based on the posts that follow i will begin taking names and doing my best to keep a recorded and updated list of any jailbreak players you as a community think would be strong examples of proper leaders and representatives of the jailbreak server. This is in no way an attempt to over throw or start rebellion among Xeon Gamers, just a way for the proper people to revive the credit they deserve.... and hopefully let members nominate some possible quality admins. Ok, just to be that guy, and i'm tripping on vicodin so sry if i sound excessively un-mannered or confusing. Could the option to drop special grenades just as bombs or weapons be added to the server. With many special equipments such as hats and trails being controlled by this, the ability to pass it on would be quite useful. 3. If i was to edit/re-wright the jailbreak rules to a more proper and appropriate setup for what goes on on the jailbreak server would anyone be willing to review them and possibly add what they think would binifit the server. It has come to my attention that those who limit and those who experience the limits are very different people. 4. Finnaly, when i first began the request for a change in behavior among admins on the jailbreak server, i had no knowable xG was in fact limited on available admins. Now, with quite a bit of pondering I offer a proposition to best help serve the server in fair and just treatment. Would it be possible for a poll/nomination thread to begin where if any cretin member of the community was to revive enough nominations, they would receive the abilities of limited admin ship so they could properly address problems brought up as they see fit.

Sam, my apologies, i had no idea that was instated... thank you. Now the reason i referred to the CT's in the gaining of admin powers, has nothing to do with their breaking of rules, its that they wright the rules. Further more, providing the right counter terrorists (warden) with the proper admin ship would be the next step to reinforce the rules he sets in place..... now this is in fact not an issue to my knolage anymore with the proper admins now spending time on the server. any chance you could wright something for ct's breaking vents tho?.... that is an issue.

thats why u only appoint the admins u trust, and eliminate all fun commands..... then when u think theres an issue simply remove what u've given them and they'll soon reconigse what can be soooo easily lost

Samantha, before now i've known very little about you. In the past all the scripters i've every scene try to handle the jailbreak scene go directly at removing the power of thoes killing thorough code. This therefore ideally limiting the required # of admins and increasing the so called "fun". Unfornatually this NEVER works out. Your approach of "trying to provide proof through plugins" is infact one of the most skipped over ideas in jailbreak, yet the smartest. It is my strong suggestion that in regards to admins in the near future you simply look at the CT side of the senario and begin to hand out the simple commands of slay, switch, mute/unmute, and mabe even beacon or kick to those whom have showed increased respect as well as honesty. This allows thoes who have had to deal with it in the past not just repremend the abuser the round after but take care of it on sight and make sure all parties are well represented. Furthermore, the work you've done Samantha has really helped us out in finding the true rebelers. But there is one more favor we ask of you. In the past there has been allot of speculation over cretin counter terrorists opening the cell doors before orders are given and no matter how much we love to call warden and quickly give our first orders of "if ur out of ur cell ur a rebel" with the long round time there is hostly no all the proper counter terrorist can be there to say what needs to be said. not to question anything your admins have done, but allot of the time ill knotice that 1. the admins don't acknolage them selvs as admins... and 2. they only respond to needs specific to them. While i my self am playing jailbreak i'm more the often responding the 8 or more requests of members complaining of free-killing and unproper commands. It is only from here that i can instruct others to either slay them selvs for what was done blatenly wrong, or request they swich teams do to breaking certin rules. At this point in time with the voice in the jailbreak server others constantly tell me i have am i able to deal with the problems specific to the situation. The only real solution is the need more true jailbreake admins. Ok, samantha i have a very high respect for u seeing as though i've been alongside many in your place before. But unlike most CS:S games jailbreak is not run by any amount of script or code, it's run by personal influence and opinion. For any machine to run successfully all cogs, switched, and levers must be acted upon appropriately. This may sound quite weird but in a game such as jailbreak the best way to solve a problem is through human discussion. This is where i bring up example, after an admin on 3 different jailbreak servers whom have all had their full run in rising and falling the best solution to a problem in a category such as this is to increase the amount of admins on the server but monitor all quite closely.
