Below is what we consider functional vs. what is still needing to be done before we can release a Alpha / Beta build. This thread will be continually updated as our progress changes. Minecraft Version: 1.7.2 Functional Features Custom blocks Custom moving blocks (i.e. sand) [*]Custom items Custom food Custom tools Custom armor [*]Prefab system (will be discussed in detail in another thread) [*]Codec/Message system for Protocol (will be discussed in detail in another thread) [*]Addons [ SpoutcraftMod coded mods sent directly to client from server ] [*]API Layer that builds on Forge; what developers can use is what we use TODO (for first alpha build and beyond) Complex rendering (Allowing prefabs to provide the model to render as well as the renderer class) FileSystem/Resource management Additional GUI API Additional Prefabs (Blocks/Items/etc and extending more base classes) Events missing in Forge for common things found in Bukkit.
