JimenyCrickets 0 Posted November 26, 2011 I am usually incredibly lenient when it comes to what falls under "disrespect" when I'm on the moderator duties, and often I feel like what many consider disrespect is in fact light-hearted jesting and verbal horseplay. Even what we refer to as "yo momma jokes" are such a common place device used in playground banter that I am willing to allow people to, in jest of course, poke fun at my mother and to claim that she is what one would refer to as "hot" and "one that had sex with ______". To make such jokes are in obvious pursuit of laughter and not to be misinterpreted in any way, shape, or form, as a form of disrespect or anything with a negative connotation. However, we are not dealing with run of the mill playground jokes or the common jokester; what we are dealing with is an internet sociopath who threatened me, saying that he was going to kill my mother. Now, I understand more than anyone that sometimes people take things a little too far; we are all guilty of accidentally overstepping our boundaries and this is something that we have to establish through trial and error. To Glenn Beck, however, discovering that I am sensitive about my family was exactly what he was looking for. After an incredibly disingenuous apology, Glenn Beck Changed from the Following Names: 1. Smokers Mom is Hot 2. Smokers Dead Beat Father 3. Smokers Grandmother ..where he continually made offensive and hurtful insults and fabrications about how difficult my childhood was, my fathers role in my childhood, the length of my genitalia, and most disturbingly, about my grandmothers death. Interestingly enough, members of the community joined him in mocking my family and myself. I chose not to respond to him in the heat of the moment, so I have come to the xG community now as vulnerable and as weak and scared as they come; I wish for Glenn Beck to be stripped of his membership, and to be permanently banned from the server, for he is a danger to our community and a danger to society at large. Sometimes people make mistakes. Sometimes, from those mistakes, we can reveal a little too much about the person making them. I believe that what we have here is not the typical video gamer. What we have here is far more sinister: a virulent pestilence; a broken down shell of a child; a sick sociopathic; an anti-social malignant refugee from the outside society. Someone who we cannot, and absolutely must not, allow to disgrace our community any longer. While he may need the tools necessary for re-acclimatization, re-programming after the tremendous social trauma he has suffered, he must find no salvage here. For to allow him to continue gaming along side us would allow him more opportunity to further corrupt our easily impressionable populace, which will inevitably lead to the dissemination of our wonderful gaming community, and ultimately destruction of the younger generation. And with that, I will leave you with a series of disturbing images; my photographic journal of an emotional abuse spanning 20 minutes. As you read the text of the images, notice how his initially playful nature quickly degenerates into obsessive attention seeking behavior, harmful and abusive. Notice how he begs to be noticed, and continually steps up the edginess and sadistic content of his comments the further along it goes. If anyone would like to discuss further what I believe this reveals about Glenn Beck, I am more than willing to reveal my opinion. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Smoker 1. Initial Contact - Attention seeking behavior 2. Never reward Attention seeking behavior, it only reinforces destructive habits 3. "Is anyone else paying attention to me?" 4. "He isn't noticing me, better do something drastic, he will DEFINITELY notice this" 5. Other people starting to become influenced by Glenn Beck... 6. He knows he ♥♥♥♥ed up, and is trying to get attention by referencing friendship and camaraderie 7. "Maybe he wasn't paying attention, better try again..." 8. Starting to get a little pissed; resorts to insults 9. More people starting to get involved 10. Anyone willing to play along with Glenn Beck's game is externally validating him. He thinks "Oh look! People are finally noticing me!" So the behavior continues.
JimenyCrickets 0 Posted November 26, 2011 11. "Maybe now he will pay attention to me?" 12. "EVERYONE! LOOK AT ME! PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO ME" 13. Nobody cares, so he tries again. 14. Resorts to questioning my manhood. A classic male challenge. 15. Setting up for the big punchline... 16. "What got his attention last time? Oh yeah when I talked about the death of a loved one. I better do that again so that he finally notices me. 17. This is what he has been after the entire time. He blatantly reveals his need for my approval and validation as he gives up seeking attention. His question is aimed at himself as he wonders what he did so wrong... "Why wouldn't Smoker Talk to me?" 18. But not for long; his ego shattered, he moves on to the next opportunity to gain acceptance and approval of a group: joining in on the attack of a weaker member.
