Aaron 0 Posted December 2, 2011 Next time you decide to do math trivia, please review your grade 3 math. If you don't know what im talking about it's BEDMAS. You multiple before you add. Thus 5+5x5 is not 50, rather its 30. Let me show you my full steps as you may have some confusion. 5+5x5 <--- THIS IS THE EQUATION. OH THERE IS ADDITION AND MULTIPLICATION. ACCORDING TO BEDMAS YOU MULTIPLE FIRST. 5+25 <---- 5x5 is 25 30<---- Now here comes the simple addition. 25+5 = 30. Thus, with the rule of bedmas, with an equation of 5+5x5, one must multiple before you add. Meaning the final answer is 30 not 50. Please review your bedmas or may i suggest you not taking any form of math in any future career. ie. Accounting. Good Day and i hope i have helped you in today's lesson of BEDMAS.
