well this is something that helped me out basically : this is a config that helped boost my fps up a lot. I don't use this anymore since i got a better comp but it might help you too : basically go to here "Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\counter-strike source\cstrike\cfg"

 

then go in notepad and copy and paste everything inbetween the lines " "

Then save the notepad as .cfg file and save it in that folder which i showed you. Start the game up and type exec "nameofyourfile" in console. For example if your file is named trolls.cfg type exec trolls .Hope you get better performance :S

 

sadly i already use this sometimes :| just i dont like using because i cant see sprays...

you can fix that just go to options and set textures up higher until you can see
