danno 0 Posted March 22, 2012 Sometimes when I'm playing CSS there are people who like to put the goofy characters in their name to look cool but some are so goofy that I can't see them and they come up as boxes for me. Obviously I don't have the characters in CSS, I just wanted to know how I can get them into CSS so I can see those characters.
McNeo 3 Posted March 23, 2012 You'll get boxes for any characters not in your fonts on your computer. It has nothing to do with CS:S. Only solution is to download and install a bunch of fonts. Keep in mind this could include international language packs as well.
danno 0 Posted March 23, 2012 So CSS and windows don't have different font packs? So if i downloaded font packs for windows, they would show up in CSS too?
McNeo 3 Posted March 23, 2012 That's my understanding. You'll see the same box in any other Windows program for un-recognized characters. If you didn't know already, you can click Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Character map to see all characters in all fonts on your computer.
