It turns out the plane is Air-Force One and they were about to launch a salvo of nukes at other countries cause America loves war, the plane went down just as they launched but the guidance system failed and the nukes fell back to America destroying major cities all over the country thus plunging America into a state of disaster and nuclear fallout.

By side of him, lay two GIANT fucking whales, who appear to not be breathing.

 

As Aqua Man puts out the fire, the whales scream, "You fucking dumbass! We need water too!"

Aqua Man is fast on his feet. He quickly saves the humans in the church, and goes to a nearby pool and saves the Whales.
