Mature Active Experienced Dedicated when things get serious, so do they. someone who won't Mic Spam, Interrupt, or talk about anything irrelevant/off-topic during clan Meetings or discussion. (this is for in-game aswell) they're not only a regular player & member, they're also involved with the community. (mumble, forums and they're also liked or have a "good" reputation with the rest community.) someone who knows their way around [xG], admin commands, regulations/rules and CS:S too. (not saying someone couldn't be trained, but thats more work for other members that preferably shouldn't be necessary) and someone who does things for the community, to make sure everyone else has a good time playing and being part of the [xG] community and NOT in spite of personal gain. Surprisingly I've seen this a little more then I had expected lately. I've said this before, but an Admin is there to make sure everything runs smoothly and properly. when a problem occurs, they should know how to handle it. they should also have higher expectations then regular players and members. (due to the power they possess) Oh, and i might as well suggest this while I'm talking to you now anyway. I think there should be a "Freeze" command for higher level Admins so they can give Mic checks for CT's and T's without any interference. This would hopefully cut down on the random players who play as CT without acknowledging the rules. Of course this would have to have some limitations so it wouldn't get abused or wrongly used.

so were on the same level now? Edit: i don't think you can change how busy Admins are though. that's something they'll have to train themselves on.

because the current admins (not the ones I've mentioned above) are usually not on, too busy to help, AFK in spec, or they're too in-experienced to handle whatever the problem may be properly. Which is why I suggest demoting the more "useless" admins and promoting members who fit the position and would do a better job. So if you have better Admins, who actually know what they're doing, then you would have more control, and the "rule breaker" population would decrease. of course, if you promote more "useless" admins, then the problem would certainly increase. (and I'm not saying names, or disrespecting anyone, so please don't take it that way)

It's not that we think our "skill" of admin would be better. (I am probably the most un-cocky person you'll ever meet) I just think some of the moderators and Admins could be more "efficient". a lot of the times when I see admins & moderators on, i just feel like nothing is getting accomplished. there could be several admins on, and several people are still getting FreeKilled or breaking the rules, and absolutely nothing is being done. there are a few exceptions to this though, i'll just throw out a couple names who are doing a fine job of Admin / Moderator (Excision, Edison and Duckii are some) I know were you are coming from though, Samantha. I do. but I can assure you that I just want to better the community. I play Jb to have fun, and with all the rule breakers. it's nearly impossible and quite annoying to have to sit out for a whole ten minutes, while some one camps in a corner and nine+ people are looking for them, all because you got Freekilled because some one didn't read a simple set of rules that aren't hard to follow in the slightest. I won't lie, I do miss being a Admin for the simple fact that i hate calling on other people, making them stop whatever they're doing to come help out on JB with one stupid Freekiller because he/she wants to ruin it for everyone else, when I know I could just solve the problem myself. I can really only describe this feeling as being handicapped. :/ But, i could honestly care less if I get admin back or not as long as this problem gets solved and Administrators and Moderators are more efficient with their powers. (I was talking to Excision about this earlier, he said he had introduced the idea of a "terms of service" agreement for the MOTD. I love this idea. I had absolutely no intention of posting this, but hopefully it will convince I'm for the community, and not admin. do you really think i would spend thirty + minutes typing all this just to get admin back? :P I truthfully and Honestly love this community, and all i want for it is to succeed. but until some problems are solved, i don't think it go can anywhere. and if you read all that, well kudos to you. tried to add spaces and coloring to not make it so.. boring.

well, i feel that if we demote Admins / Moderators who aren't as active / mature / experienced , etc and promote some members who are experienced, active, and mature, then more problems would be solved. I understand that watching 40+ people is hard (trust me, i know i used to be admin) but when you have admins who play JailBreak and basically nothing else consistently , and they know what they're doing, then things run a whole **** of a lot smoother and you have more control on the players. even when there's a admin in the game, people act extremely better because they know they're under the risk of being punished.

the problem with the gun game we had was, it would play maps where you would only get one life and then the next round you would get your upgraded gun, and people didn't like that (including me). everyone wanted the continuous infinite spawn gun game, which only certain maps supported.

updated last post. and i understand that, there are far more important things slaying freekillers, i know. but it just seems everyone is far too busy to help, so people are 'volunteering' to do the work the busy Admins & Moderaters can't. I would apply myself, but due to me just recently coming back, and the 'decision' I've made in the past to leave, I'm almost guaranteed i wouldn't get accepted and i would be just setting myself up for failure.

you're usually AFK, but when you are playing and there's a problem; i don't see much of anything get accomplished. (not including scripting) no offense to you or anything, but its the truth. and here's the problem; but to answer your question, yes, he does.

He's stating there's a problem with JB management. (aka the staff) not controlling JailBreak properly. So, he's not asking for Admin. He's applying for some type of power to help deal with the problems.

to be honest though Duckii, you do a great job. You know what you're doing and you handle the situation in a mature manner properly. so I have literally nothing against you. you're one of the few exceptions to my complaint. oh and, shikaku voted "no".

which is completely understandable, but when several other members don't/can't help out - it's highly annoying. there's just no way that everyone is busy and can't take a couple minutes out of their time to get a freekiller off CT. some admins are just being straight up Lazy.

completely agree. i'm tired of playing JailBreak all the time with no admins on to help with problems. and it's really annoying (yet i still do it) to message every admin/moderator on my friendslist or go on mumble to come help with the problem. whether big or small, they have to stop what ever they're doing to come help with JailBreak. personally, that would get on my nerves. (i only play JailBreak though so, whatever) on top of that, about 75% of the time, the admins don't even come to help. as for the ones who do play jailbreak, they're always AFK or don't pay attention to whats going on and never get anything done other then slay Freekillers who ONLY freekill them. I don't know about anyone else, but this frustrates the **** out of me. I think more, not only just active but mature and experienced members should be given the chance to help deal with this problem and clear the trash to better the [xG] Community. otherwise, it will just fail, making it completely unpleasant for everyone. the purpose of admins are to make sure everything runs smoothly without any problems, how can this be achieved when no one is ever on or willing to help deal with problems! seriously, its like everyone thinks they can get admin and just use it for bragging rights or to hold it over someone like they're better.

when i walked over the gun, you couldn't even hear the clicking noise and then i died. which is NOT two seconds. (can you not count?) you DID in fact FREEKILL. I even told you to slay yourself or i was going to post on the forums.. and look what happened. i can also verify that you Freekilled Froggy and did not slay yourself. You are extremely unfit to be part of the [xG] staff. not to mention your grammar and spelling is terrible. I'm surprised your powers haven't been revoked by now. Edit: I do recall you also banning a player for freekilling, even though you openly admitted to knowing there was a TeamBan feature. so not only do you Freekill, you also punish players, with the wrong punishments.

(two seconds hasn't passed by the time i pick it up) when confronting DareDevil on this, he says he doesn't have to warn nor give me time to drop it.
