that's extreme and I like it, but would anyone actually agree to that? I think too many people would be afraid to get their stuff taken away to agree to a rule like that. Maybe I should have rephrased my post, don't get rid of it all together because it's somewhat necessary, but do something like this. I wonder if a co leader would agree.

That's actually a really good point RPG. But I feel there is such a large amount of mods/admins abusing the rule that there would need to be a little more than just a talking to.

lol I said in the thread how it wasn't just me and recently there have been threads of people getting 6 hour bands and perm bans for something that really should have the most minor punishment possible. It's like trying to get rid of bullying in the school yard, it's a bandaid solution for a human problem.

You heard me. Aegean and others will probably be mad about this but I want to talk about it anyway. What has the new disrespect system exactly added to the server? Has it made the xG community a safer, more enjoyable experience, or has it created an environment where people are afraid to even joke around with someone in the server? Recently, I have been the victim of (and read many threads) about the disrespect rules. I am not speaking about someone having disrespected me personally, but me (and others) being accused of disrespecting someone else. I am here to argue that these new rules simply give people the power to arbitrarily ban when they feel that someone has said someone they don't like, as opposed to something that personally offended them. Example: CT Kills T Legitimately CT: LOl ur a slimy nigga sit! T: QQ *Files ban request* T: Herrderrr that was so funne now we'll see whose laffin 0_0 I think the intentions of these rules were true but too many admins and moderators are taking them to great lengths. I propose that we either lessen the severity of these rules or get rid of them all together, since they are only ending up in people who are otherwise productive members getting banned. +1 Judging from the amount of times I have seen DuckiiJr complain about disrespect I think he overreacts more than slightly. If it is true this person was permabanned I would seriously look into making an abuse thread about him, even if he claims it was 'just a mistake'. If he has not been perm'd I retract my statement. In addition, if it was also true that Duckii was caught rule breaking and wanted to cover his ass by getting rid of shadow, it makes the situation even worse. Can't comment on this fully though because there was no evidence, and my standing on DuckiiJr is kind of neutral. I say lessen the ban sentence because I can't even imagine a scenario where someone would disrespect so much a permaban is necessary. That's why there is gag, mute, silence etc.

I say if a perm was meant to be a perm then that is what it should be treated as unless there are extreme circumstances. No offence but what's the point of having something like that in place if we are just going to appeal everyone after a lengthy period of time? You should have appealed immediately following it if you felt you had a case, nothing personal. -1

Moving from a 6 hour ban period to a 3 day ban period is quite excessive... It would have been best to gag/mute him instead of banning him for that long... If you don't like what he has to say it is an easier way to get rid of the problem.

I don't even really remember this.. I am the centre of much controversy.. I think I muted you all for a few seconds because warden couldn't get his orders across. I didn't want anyone to die as a result of this so it was damage control.

Disclaimer: I do not know these women, the below information is probably false: They are just using you as a booty call. Seems weird using it in the male sense but its true. Go out on a lunch date, be a tremendous troll. Pretend or (genuinely) be interested in what they say. When they inevitably try to strike up a hot evening with Neo proceed to humiliate them by saying you are not interested in sex with them. They cannot hold a stable relationship and are falling back on previous successes to feel like they have some stability. ^none of this is based in fact.

I'd prefer it if A CO LEADER responded to this instead of the same people consistently repeating their opinions. Brian, please post proof of every instance and maybe I'll believe what you say. Haha, I'll be sure to screenshot the next time you or one of the other mods uses all chat then. I seriously don't even know what it's supposed to be used for if not for that. Like papi said, you're all just nitpicking because of who I am. It is widely known that All chat is used frequently by every admin/mod it is just let slide by certain people and their comrades, pretty pathetic really.

Papi, your post still stands, because he banned me for disrespect under the guise of 'abuse'. It's clear he was just butthurt.

So then the burden falls to him to demo the game. It is not up to me to defend myself from bans but he should be able to back up his own if he truly supports them. The fact that he hasn't posted in this thread/any evidence speaks volumes to rational people. He is lucky to have people like all of you who rush to his side.

This is why I put at the beginning that people who just want to bring up what they may think of me or what I have been accused of doing is relevant. Fact of the matter is, I fought my last abuse thread so technically I have never abused and been punished for it. This means my slate is clean and those of you who keep trying to somehow link it to a four hour ban are just pulling at strings. Minecrack if I remember correctly you were one of the people posting in my abuse thread. A strange coincidence how that seems to follow me around on a post I make about someone else abusing. All of you need to recheck why it is you are admins, to protect your friends or enforce the rules?

I legitimately did the vote in order for something like this to not happen. It sucks that when I tried to use it for what it is for and it gets used against me. I agree that I may have used some words that might of offended him, but never abusive. He tried to drop it in the end by just banning me to shut me up, and that didn't really happen. He was being equally confrontational in my mind by saying that I was abusing, he kind of enraged me. Thanks for your input anyway, I guess you are right in some ways

A few words in all chat is not worthy of a 4 hour ban, you also do not see the real issue here, not surprising as you posted in my abuse thread. summary: 'being argumentative' is now equated with 'disrespect' 'using all chat to ask everyone if there are any experienced wardens' = 4hr ban I also note that you didn't even bother to check if I actually abused all chat

As you can see above, I assume he banned me for 'disrespect' that never took place. Here is the gist of the chat log: Basically the server was in chaos, no one knew how to warden and there were a great number of CTs who had no idea what they were doing. I offered to teamswap and held a vote and got almost no votes against. I then asked the admins if I could and 'DrPedo' claimed it was abuse, before I even switched teams. Keep in mind he banned me before I switched teams for four hours.
