  1. I never wanted to join this clan in the first place because I knew it was only a matter of time before I lost interest in playing counter strike and lean off to other activities, but after having so many people urge me on to join in the beginning, I couldn't refuse any longer to make them happy, which is what I've mostly always tried to do while I was on the server. First of all, I would like to say that there are many people that I've constantly bad mouthed, and humiliated, but there's only a few that knew deep down that I was just playing the game my way. My voice was, and still is, my way of being a rebel - having a weapon - when there is over a dozen primaries aimed at the back of my head, and there's nothing else. I never expected any less from others than they would expect from me regardless of which team I'm on. However, the Doug that spat and disrespected the counter terrorists isn't the same Doug posting this thread saying goodbye. Doug never had more fun on CS - truth be told, he had never as much fun as he ever had gaming than when he did - with this clan. Whenever I was warden, I always tried to be the "fun" one, which I always knew would end up in flames, but I always tried, and oh boy, did I try, because I wanted to give back the same sort of joy I experienced a little over a month ago. Then I realized I couldn't. Those times were too good. Doug doesn't want to leave with a lie either. He could just say, "Oh, I'll probably be back." and then never have to worry a single bit about looking like a hypocrite later, or as most people seem to think during Insult Warden days, like a hippo. One real part of why I'm leaving is because I'm not a big fan of about the buy-a-mod issue going on. People who deserve that power through experience and trust are getting shoved over by those who threw down a few extra dollars, and frankly, if I wanted that I could have and would've played and stayed for as long as I did on this server on any other CS server instead. There are people unlike me in this clan who can really make the jailbreak server a better place for every one to play on, but sadly, I won't be there when they get the honor. I at least hope they are when they can. So this is it. If you didn't like me, I'm sorry, and if you did like me, I'm sorry too. Doug admits he takes it a little too far sometimes, but come on, it's fucking Doug. He talks in third person. Shit, he does this even in real life accidentally... a lot. Just one last thing before I go. Please. Try to make jail break fun for the people whenever you can. You can't please everybody, but please most of them. They don't log on to die in the first ten seconds, wait ten minutes, and then die in the first ten seconds. Have some god damn energy and personality. This isn't something for you to beat, or a way to exercise some non existent authority. It's a game. People play games to have fun. If you don't have fun... well, like I stopped having... then you won't come back any more, and it's a damn shame to see people go. Like I did. Bye bye, everybody. Thank you. IF YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME, GIVE THUNDER DOUG A HELL YEAH!

    Lol

I'm with ya on that one. Full JB servers can kiss my ass.
  3. Trying to play Jailbreak without sound is like trying to be a warden without a mic.
  4. They will keep it anyway... Because they're people. Thus this is the same reason why only allowing the small group of people have more control would be a bad thing. Like I said before, they'll either do what the community says which makes having staff votes only count useless, or... They're going to be personally bias, go against the majority, and end up power abusing and being elitist. Yeah, I admit, most people here let any body join, but at least it's their decision as a whole. You know, which is kind of the point of being in a... clan? Right? Yeah, a clan.
  5. Nope. Good luck trying to play without sound on a game based around verbal communication over mic. You're first to die on LR, Simon Says, etc. Best you can do is make it to the bottom of cell stairs.
  6. People will just post more dumb pointless crap if you up the post count. It shouldn't even matter at all. By the way, staff members are also human. They're going to hold grudges and be pitiful like any one else.
  7. He's just trolling ya. You wouldn't be playing jail break if you were deaf.
  8. He couldn't get me banned, but at least he was successful at doing it to himself.

  10. Doug's completely against having only mods and higher up being the only ones to +1 or -1 It's either mods just listen to the public meaning there's no point to this in the first place... Or they go against the public, which seems bias, corrupt, and adds yet another case of power abuse. I know that if this method was implemented from the beginning, most people on here wouldn't be here.

With Fullbring behind it, this map is going to be the best one ever. Every jail break server is going to use this.

Could we have another bigger knife arena with holographic fences for Thunderdome/Pokemon? The entrances that lead inside of it would strip all those who enter of their weapons like the map that's awfully familiar to electric razor, but have knives ready to be given inside of it like the machines near the soccer field. You could design the platform the way a cyberpunk Pokemon stadium would look like, and as a plus, you can add in actual music like Pokemon that can be played along side the fighting like a disco booth as well as have unique lights going off to set the mood and atmosphere. Pokemon and Thunderdome are often played, but never is there a particular section of maps designed solely for the two games in mind as precise as this idea. Please consider. Most of the time, Thunderdome and Pokemon both feel quite underwhelming. EDIT: And if you can add in a healing bay nearby that plays the pokemon center little jingle that plays as you heal up, well, that'll be the cherry ontop of the sundae ontop of the pie that's on top of the cake.
  13. So what this day really means is that now we just call the warden the President. We basically call Obama when round starts.

You could've been the better person in the first place, and not have been rude. Just saying... Don't have expectations from people if you don't set an example yourself, but I'm not here to lecture... yet. I'm just here to put a -1 on this so we don't end up banning some body with an attitude when every body involved had one. Think you're the better person? Then be it. Turn the other cheek. Rub the dirt off your shoulders. Walk away. Practice what you preach.

It definitely put your skills to the test when you try out other servers. Learning to work around the different systems is a refreshing and challenging pace though.
