Is it "legal" to use someone's hat to identify them? For example: "Creeper head drop the gun" or "The guy with the Guy Fawks is rebel" Not only can there be multiple similar hats so it may not be a unique identifier, but it also if the CT doesn't get our name that can help rebel and whatnot.

Trying to get some clarification on the vent rule in JB. CT's are not allowed to break vents. What about those "hidden vents" that aren't really vents but just hidden holes in the wall. Can CT's use those? I've seen arguments go both ways while in-game.

So I only have one email address. It's through Gmail. Why do you need more than one when you have over 7GB of storage, right? Well, it is true that you can do a simple Google search for an email address and find all online profiles and anything associated with that email - including Facebook (unless your privacy settings forbid it), and even THIS forum. So I was considering creating a second one to keep "clean" just for job applications and things like that so nothing can be cross-referenced. And of course there's always 10minutemail.com if you need a fake. ANYWAY... Someone has been emailing in response to a craigslist ad and they've been doing some general trolling and I've kind of been feeding it because it's fun. Found a fun map on another JB server, has a lot of stuff I haven't seen on any of the xG JB maps... Boxing ring, some weird moving things that kills you, lol all kinds of fun stuff. I can't find it online anywhere, are the files I downloaded through my client enough for you guys to try it out and/or put it on the server?

So by the sounds of it, your mouse works everywhere except in-game? And, you say you can't turn like there's walls? So, like, when you move your mouse your character tries to turn but bounces back? So do you see some movement at all? If you say no movement, could be a mouse sensitivity or binding issue in CS:S. Check sensitivity levels, bindings, make sure joystick mode is off etc, etc. If there is movement, and you're getting that bounce-back kind of thing I was describing, I really don't know what that could be. Verify local content through your steam client. Browse to Steam folder and delete (make a backup) of your models, materials, and textures folders (everything will re-download). Or, if all else fails, maybe, this: RickRoll'D

Most the other JB servers are in German. Ich kann sprechen ein bischen Deutsche aber nicht so guet! It's fun to try to play and hope you're doing things right. Found a nice-ish Australian one but I can't seem to find their rules and I keep getting killed so I'm not sure how they run things. Been doing a lot of zombie escape and zombie revival as well, those keep things moving, no downtime. I agree though - having your servers offline makes it hard for new people to come, and for regulars to be regular. I just donated a few weeks ago after playing here for a few days - then the attacks started. If I knew then what I know know I woulda bought another bottle of booze instead of donating. Hate to say it, but at this point I donated to something I'm not getting anything out of.
