Shiro 0:42575131 and Deodate 0:47710373 Your Name: McNeo Reason why: Ghosting (in a sense), conspiring to gunplant to cause rebel (gunplanting is a ct-banable offense per motd), see pics

+1 Haven't played very much with him BUT i have mini-gamed a few times and he seems cool, chill, legit, etc. Also, perfect grammar in his app post, so I think that makes a note of his maturity some considering he says he's 13.
-
I'll +1 a CT ban for freekilling and being so in-the-dark about what the warden told t's to do, but other than that s/he can be fun, at times. Usually can get annoying on mic though, but if a couple people tell him/her to shut it s/he usually does.

I've heard "bum-rush" used in games (not just cs:s) for yeeeeaaaaars.
-
Anyone else have a chance to check this map out?
-
+1 Why: Knows the motd/rules and doesn't cause a fuss if something gets questioned. Fun to play with (in all the wrong ways :playful: ) Maturity: 9/10 Activity: 7/10

And this. I'm not aware of anything that allows spectators/dead to interact with the map.

Wow these things are so old, back from the dial-up days, bahaha. BUT, it's funny because I have't done this since I moved, I think my new name is win: Lucky Cumberland

-1 I agree it would cause spamming or abuse of some sort. If there's an admin in-game they can use all chat to tell someone to open cells, etc. I've never seen it be a problem thus far. Also, not related, this is my 69'th post. OM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM nom nom nom nom slurp.

(Would have just made a comment but it limited the length) Even with no admins my recommendation to do a mic check and ask people to switch still applies. Also, I do understand what you mean about the same person always being warden so not wanting to call it, but if that "always-warden" person needs to ask who's warden then he obviously isn't warden (I hope that makes sense, lol).

Decision: +1 Why: Knows the rules/motd. Pretty cool, mature, and relaxed. Maturity: 9/10 Activity: 8/10

The only thing semi-related to this that I can comment on is when warden dies and CT's USE THEIR MICs to say "Who's gonna call warden". THAT is BS in my opinion, next person that does that I will call warden then pass it to you. Other than that, yeah, dumb thread, not much that can be done unfortunately. Best thing you can do is try to do a mic check in game and convince people to switch teams accordingly.

The bunny and egg are actually fertility symbols in the Pagan religions. The symbols were hi-jacked by the Christians to try to get people to convert from Paganism to Christianity. The largest hi-jacked symbol is the Christmas Tree, originally also used for Pagan (mainly druid) festivals sometimes to represent life and growing. Also, this ^ I will say, however, that I hate a lot of ham and cheesy potatoes today - so that's always good.

Players SteamID: 0:0:37974118 Players IP: (If you have this.) n/a Players Nick Name/In-Game Name: SycoWill(I'm A Doug) Your Name: McNeo Reason why: See attached screenshot threatening to freekill. He never made it to CT so never had an opportunity to, but I see in forums there's other complaints about him freekilling. Also attached (I hope) a demo of him doing a !lr race not showing CT where to start/finish. Edit: It is not letting me attach anything to this. You can't really change your own IP address on command. Without getting into the technicalities of it - on DSL should give you a new IP every day, and if cable you probably only get a new IP every 2-4 weeks (or it could be months). Only real way to "hope" for a new IP (not force) is to unplug your modem for 24+ hours (even then there's a chance you'll get the same IP). My honest opinion, unless anyone else has any ideas, would be to uninstall Steam, then go to your steam folder ("C:\Program Files\Steam\") and straight-up delete it, then re-install. I really don't know what else to try.

What server? The !hats menu on the JB server is always buggy for some reason, so if you're trying on JB you'll have to connect to a different server, set your hat, then go back. Also, when you click Equip for a hat, DO NOT click okay. You have to wait for that page to refresh and say hat equipped.

I dont think it would be an IP ban because you wouldn't be able to connect to any other xG server either. (Can an admin verify this?) When using another computer, can you do it from your house (same internet connection)? If so, that would rule out an IP ban. As a last resort, try this: Exit Steam Open Windows Explorer (my computer) and browse to this folder: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\(username)\counter-strike source\cstrike ((C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\... on a 64-bit OS)) Create a new folder (right-click, choose New, then Folder). Name it backup. Hold CTRL key and click these folders: cache, DownloadLists, downloads, maps, materials, models Press CTRL+X (cut) Open the new folder you created, press CTRL+V (paste) You just moved downloaded game contents to a backup folder "just in case", but this will have no effect so no worries. Also, all your personal settings are still okay. Now, try to re-connect. Maps, models, etc will have to re-download BUT it may help if anything anywhere was gummed-up.

9 +1's in a day. Thanks everyone! One more? :) Any over-achievers want to be number 11 and 12 and lucky number 13 just for good measure? Thanks again everyone.

^ This. It's a round-about way, but it will at least verify if you can connect. It would suck to have to do that every time though. Not sure if this will help with this problem or not, but you could try this: In Steam, right-click CS:S and choose properties. Go to the Local Files tab. Click Verify Integrity of Game Cache. When that completes click Defrag Cache Files. Restart Steam.

What are all the different clan tags and what do they mean? I've seen the tag "xenogamers", are those members, players, is it a public tag, or what? xG:A and xG:M I think are pretty self-explanitory. But what are all the others and what do they mean? I've seen xG:C xG:D xG:GG and more. Also, is the A Rebel and D Rebel tags xG-related or is that something different? I see those a lot.

When you are using a different computer are you using your Steam account or someone else's account? If it works on another computer with your account, it's something with your computer (see below) If your account does not work on another computer, it could be a ban, etc. Are you connecting using the menu or the console? From console type "connect [ip address]" (without the quotes) (not sure what the current ip is - admin?)

I used to be an admin on the 54-slot CantStopGaming (CSG) CS:S server until it folded so I have admin experience (I realize this is not an admin application, but this experience could be a plus). I am helpful by nature. I have years of help desk experience so I can help people with computer, Steam, and CS:S issues if needed. I am active on the forums, including a handful of helpful "HOW TO" documentations. I would be more active on TS if I could find the TS server info again. I'm not 12.
