  1. +1. Awesome friendly and active player, and most importantly, very good/strict sense of the rules. Sure, some might be annoyed by the occasional barrage of complaints, but it's born of a desire to see rules enforced with the interest of keeping the game fun, with is only a positive.
  2. Been playing for a very long time, knows the rules well. He's often willing to CT and warden, and is a good one besides. Fun player, well loved, mature and doesn't dick around (much.) +1
  3. -1. Two points, freeshooting, and disrespect. His "disrespect" is 90% of the time just how he talks with people. It's a joking, "I mess with you, you mess with me" kind of thing. It's almost never serious, and pretty much everyone who knows him on the server understands that. I've never personally seen anyone actually be offended or have a problem with Nom's "disrespect." As for freeshooting, yeah, he freeshot. Except freeshooting is not even a mandatory SLAY. Unless it happens every other round it's up to the mod's discretion. A handful of freeshots might warrant a slay or a teamswap, not a ban.
  4. Fellow Comrade! He doesn't warden much, but he knows all the rules, plays great on both T and CT, and is very active. I have never seen him break a rule, or even so much as get into a pissing match with anyone. Friendly, mature, and dude, he's freakin' Russian. Extra point for that alone. +1
  5. I don't think it should be. If it's a rebel, mass firefight, makes sense that both T and CT should be allowed to use the medic.
  6. But by pure definition it is not a false order. It's obvious that it was stated with the intent to 'tarp,' but CTs have been finding ways to legally non-tarp all the time, such as the very common 'leave cells on my go,' and then slipping go into the sentence. If we allow that, I don't see how we can logically not allow this. Forcing Ts to pay attention to orders is not the same as tarping or giving false orders, even though it may have the same outcome. Ts are supposed to listen carefully to orders, and if they fail to pay attention, they end up dying. Under our current understanding of the rules, Line did nothing wrong. All he did was ask a question. The real problem is that we do not have a clear definition of what does and does not constitute a tarp. We should open a separate discussion thread to work out a full, specific definition and add it to the MOTD, because currently what is a 'tarp' is mostly nothing more than commonly accepted opinion. -1
  7. Everything that can be said, has already been said. I fully agree with everything in every plus one post above. +1
  8. Duck Hunt works great, but only with sidearms and both CTs being at a distance. I think a good distance marker is about the distance on Castle from the diving board to the walls on either side. Alternatively we could have a system that pairs a CT with a T. Perhaps let the T choose which CT tries to "hunt" him, and have only one CT shooting. Knife Race is simple as hell. You have Ts spread out with a gap between them and tell them to WASD freeze. If they move, they die. There's practically no room for confusion. I really like all of these games except the backpack game. I'm not a big fan of games that involve pure chance. That's why I hate roulette. I like games when the Ts get some kind of choice or change, like on Gladiator where they get to bet on a winner, or LQ Roulette, where trivia matters at least a little bit. Otherwise I approve of all the games, except Turtle Wars which I've never heard of and would like to know more about. I'd also like to add the CS GO version of Easter Hunt. Naturally it only works on a map with a lot of bombs to pick up. Trivia picks an Easter Bunny who picks up a fuck ton of bombs and hides 'em where the warden tells him. Easter Bunny is exempt from the game, and Ts have to find the bombs.
  9. He's very active and has been playing for a very long time. I have literally never, ever, seen him disrespect anyone, have a problem or conflict of any kind. I've never, ever seen him break any rules either. He's a fun player, both as a T and as a CT. Doesn't warden, but that's hardly a negative in this case. +1
  10. +1 Great CT, often wardens. He knows the rules, is very mature and I've never seen him disrespect like... anyone. Ever. He's very active and has been playing on the server for a long time. He'd be a great addition to xG, and is a great player all around.

Eh.... Okay, being strict, paying attention, and following rules/orders to the letter, is NOT freekilling/being disrespectful. I've seen people of people pissed at him and disrespecting him because they got slaughtered for missing orders, but I've never seen him openly, actively disrespecting others without provocation. -1
  12. Definitely +1 Not only does he know the rules like the back of his hand, he's also very just in enforcing them and never drops the ball. He has a lot of experience with the job having been a PM in the past, and is arguably a better mod as a PM than some of the actual mods (myself included.) He deserves it, hands down.
  13. Everything that can be said has been said. One of the best players and CTs on the server. Knows the rules, is mature, respects other players, doesn't create problems. He'd be an awesome addition to xG.
  14. +1 Great CT and warden, and he knows all the rules, better than some of the other mods even. He teaches players, lets them know if rules are being broken, and is all around an extremely mature and respectable player. He'd be a great mod.
  15. Recently we've been having a Nazi wardening spree where Ts are being shot for detouring/delaying. However, they're being shot for the most minor possible definitions of such. For example, we were ordered to shift walk to cell stairs (VIP) on Castle. I was shift walking towards the stairs, was halfway there, and stopped for literally one second. Then I resumed walking to the stairs, and was shot for "delaying." Others, and myself have been shot for "detouring" which was apparently defined as not taking a literal straight A to B line towards the destination. So if you took a curved path, or took an extra few steps to the right or left (clearly not rebelling or planning to go anywhere else,) it was considered detouring. Can we get a concrete definition of what constitutes delay/detour? I find it kind of ridiculous that a T can be shot for pausing a mere second or two en-route to the destination.
  16. One of the best CTs, wardens, and guys around. Totally 100% awesome. Fun player, gets along great with others, knows the rules, I honestly can't think of anything negative to say. +1
  17. Despite past cases of baiting, freenading, etc, Linkeg is a guy who learns fast. We all learn through mistakes, and personally I've never seen him repeat any rulebreaking after being warned/slaid for it, and I haven't seen him break any rules at all in a long while for that matter. He's a good warden and often picks it up when we need one. He's mature, and I haven't seen him disrespect other players. We all started a bit rocky. Linkeg learned, and he's doing a great job these days. +1
  18. Absolutely awesome guy. Great warden, knows all the rules, helps keep new guys in line. Great candidate, and few guys would be a better mod. Definitely+1
  19. Awww, I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Happy 2013 everyone. *High five Spartacus* STEAM_1:0:13033211
  20. Wait, what is this exactly? CS:GO competitive?
  21. Ehhh, hacking is a major offense, but at the very least he wasn't pulling a Proff Jackass and using them on the xG server to freekill everyone. He fell into the temptation, only did it once, and swears to never do it again. Give him another chance, but start up from the bottom. Re-apply for xG, mod, etc. If he can work his way back up, great, if not, too bad. He's been a long time player and moderator, and has helped keep the server in line and rules enforced. Deserves an unban, but have to earn back an xG/Mod tag. +1 for unban.
  22. If gunplanting was all he did I honestly wouldn't mind pardoning him. Ts were being megafreekilled, giving Ts guns and at least some kind of chance of killing freekillers instead of being butchered inside of their cells round after round is hardly a major offense. If gunplanting was all he did, and he wasn't slaughtering Ts left and right, I'd say unban him. +1 for unban.
  23. It's not really even a matter of LQ days, I have no doubt he's learned his lesson and LQ days will not happen in the future, but as a whole LQ, even though I love the guy, is an extremely annoying, spammful individual. He commonly breaks rules knowingly, and actively trolls by mass spamming the mics to the point that it's actually crashed the server. This isn't just annoying, it brings the whole came to a grinding halt because absolutely no-one can hear the warden. If it was possible to let him play with a perma-mute I'd be fine with it. On the other hand he IS a fun guy, people do like him, and he does warden. And as a warden, LQ days aside, he actually doesn't do a bad job. I'd say give him a chance, but make it extremely clear to stop mass mic spamming, because that's the major concern really. Keep him on a short leash, so long as he doesn't mic spam, let him free, but if he mic spams again, for gods sake, perma-mute him or something, whatever it takes.
  24. I was wondering if it'd be possible to add a timer to the bomb. At the moment it's a little too simple and predictable. If a T could set a timer on the bomb for 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 30 seconds, etc, he could then drop it somewhere or throw it at a clump of CTs, etc. Gives CTs more of a chance, and opens up a lot of opportunities for fun strategies.
  25. Really? I never played CSS, I thought it was like an 8 minute round. >_>
