  1. Well CSS rounds are much shorter as it is, so it's not really a very long wait if last CT can't find any hiding Ts. I don't imagine it'll be too much of a problem, no?
  2. How about we compromise, if last CT on HnS pops up before 7:30, Ts can still hide, but after 7:30 if they haven't been found yet they have to try and kill the last CT? I mean, I've seen a few HnS days where Ts managed to stay hidden literally the entire round until all 15 minutes ran out. It wasn't last CT, there were like 3 CTs still actively searching. And that was legal in the rules. So why should it be any different during last CT?
  3. He's a fun, friendly guy. Great sense of humor and gets along great with people. I can't say I've seen him warden, but he knows the rules, is a good T and CT. +1
  4. Often on, friendly, knows the rules, he's a great guy, always participates. Definitely a winner. +1
  5. True, but there are guns hidden on the map, and Ts do not have to hide. Once CTs leave armory any T can try to rebel and sneak in, use a vent, etc. Take Dubai for instance. It's very simply for a T to wait for CTs to leave armory, drop in, and then rebel.
  6. The current MOTD states that during a Hide and Seek day CTs still have to be out of armory by 14:30. It used to be that CTs just wait in armory while Ts go hide and when we did this HnS worked. It was an effective, fun day, and very popular with both Ts and CTs. However, since the "leave armory" rule has been enforced, HnS is broken. All the CTs are forced to be clumped up in one room while Ts, instead of running to hide, all run into armory, get guns, and slaughter them. There's no incentive and nothing forcing Ts to hide. It essentially turns into a freeday with all the CTs conveniently stuck in one location. I have never seen one single HnS day successfully work when CTs don't wait in the armory. Also, this is less vital, but I'd recommend allowing Ts to continue camping during last CT on HnS day. The entire point of HnS is that whoever has the best hiding spot should survive and get LR. However, with the last CT, all hiding Ts have to scatter and try to kill the last CT, defeating the purpose of the HnS day in the first place. It's kind of unfair that the Ts who chose a good hiding spot have to abandon it because CTs got killed by other rebels. It should be their choice to try and kill the last CT or to continue hiding and hope they're not found.
  7. Definitely agree, bombs are supposed to be earned by Ts through rebelling, not by CTs massacring Ts legally.
  8. On the other hand we might suddenly have a shortage of CTs. There are people who played on other servers and CTd, so they know the basic ideas, even if they're not familiar with server rules, then they end up joining xG and suddenly are stuck on T side. Besides, best way to learn the rules is through mistakes. We don't learn by watching expirienced CTs because they already know what not to do, we learn by wardening or CTing for a few hours, screwing up, and getting punished for it. And then we remember not to do it again, and in a few days viola, we have a perfect CT>
  9. After discovering Jailbreak on CS:GO it rapidly became my favorite game type as did the xG server, mainly because of rules and gameplay (such as last CT) that weren't available on other servers. I began playing almost exclusively on the xG server, and in time established a (relatively) solid rapport with various xG members. We tend to get along great in and out of game, and I'd like to join xG out of camaraderie. I also am an active participant both as a T and as a CT, typically available for wardening when no-one is available, and try to help explain or enforce server rules when no moderators/admins area available. I contribute to games on the server, both as a warden by trying to create fun new games and keep Ts entertained, and as a T by actively stabbing CTs at every possible opportunity.
