      I know there are timpani, cymbals, cowbells, woodwips, bells, and many others but I mainly do drums and drumset in my band

      Regardless, percussion mainly includes instruments that have no pitch, compared to melody and harmony that do.

      I know woodwinds bring a much more powerful sound then percussion and dare I say it brass. All instruments are important so I guess I will stay at that
