Latest CS:S update

After the latest fagtastic update, all of my custom skins are gone, and reinstalling the old ones doesnt seem to work for me. Any solutions yet? Also, where are the new maps being saved? The cstrike/maps folder just have the default maps. Thnx.

 

EDIT:Yes I know the new folder is the commons folder

From what I heard the new directory is somewhere in the Common Folder. I could be wrong, i'm not very sure.

Css files was moved into the "Common folder" Not sure if there's any current fix for any skins since this update was recent

For Skins:

put it in a folder called custom.

eg: cstrike\custom (only materials, models, sounds) RENAME "sounds" to sound if you have to. after so go to your cstrike and put script folder in there. then look for "gameinfo.txt" in the cstrike folder

under the: SearchPaths {

add your stuff here. for example, heres mine

SearchPaths {

cstrike\cstrike_pak_dir.vpk

cstrike\custom\my_custom\models

cstrike\custom\my_custom\sound

cstrike\custom\my_custom\materials

YOU MUST HAVE [cstrikepakdir.vpk] or you will get the missing material errors. i hope this helps you or anyone else

Well, if you think about it with your common sense. CSS changed it's version. It was big update and not small update. Thus, every plugins including skins have to be updated to the right version of CSS. Like minecraft. You know. Think aobut it. <.<
