Here's a cheap Gaming PC

Recommended Posts

Ummmmm. No, there is absolutely noway you will get 60 frames on a monitor at 1920x1080 on the highest settings, which most will say Ultimate or Very High. You need to willing to spend over $500 to get 60fps on that resolution.

Most of the people here only play source engine games. Maybe if you're trying to run Cry Engine 3 or something along those, then god no. But for source games, and Minecraft, this will do perfectly. Please do your own research, and don't just give a price range.

Also, lrn2context.

Price doesn't equal better all the time.

I'm not that tech savy. Inform me on what a Power Supply like that does, rather than this cheap one that I have now?

@Brian

(Very interested in buying this computer. Might not buy the Graphics Card because I have a pretty decent one right now)

It has an 80+ bronze rating. It'll supply your computer power, drawing a maximum of 516 watts of power, with the intent of using 430 watts. If you don't get 80+, you could potentially blow up your PC.

Why not just get AlienWare. They cost like $20,000 and give you about 1 Kilobyte memory.....What more could you want?

Um..... 1 kilobyte? No. Also, for a PC like that, you are paying ~5 to 10K more than you need to. Keep in mind that a fancy case can hide a pile of shit inside :)

AMD A8-6600K, Asus GeForce GTX 650 Ti, Cooler Master HAF 932 - System Build - PCPartPicker

Why are you buying a 1200w PSU for a 650 ti? The max you'll need is 750~800, even with overclocking.

And a 3TB 5400RPM? 1TB 7200RPM + a Cheap 100GB SSD will serve much better.

1333 RAM? With an A6? Why not just buy a 965, since you're getting a graphics card anyway.

It was a joke. AlienWares are pretty awesome computers. Except for the price.

The thing about AlienWares is that they tend to last longer than other brands or types. Now of course theres the matter of the caretakers but a friend of mine got a used AlienWare computer for about 700$ and hes had it for about 6 years now. Hasnt required an upgrade of any sort and the program format is really organized......Or my pal changed it up a bit, either way......
