Steam Error

When I try to log into my steam account, it will say "unable to connect to steam servers. It then gives me the option of going in offline mode or retrying my connection. If I click on either of those, it will take me back to the login screen.

I haven't edited my steam, internet, or firewall settings

If I try and log into the site, it says incorrect password and/or username

I had this 2 days ago. First my Stream friends went down so I restarted Steam and it was the same problem you have. It worked when Steam went back up maybe 20 minutes later.

If nothing works, try to enable the beta version of Steam. If still nothing, reinstall Steam. Is this happening on other networks?
