DuckiiJr. 9 Posted October 20, 2011 They didnt tranq cuz it was late at night and was a worse danger to the people so they had to put em down

Buckethead 1 Posted October 20, 2011 I live in Ohio and this is actually surprising, seeing as Ohio is a boring place and something out of the ordinary happens like this.

HighPlains 0 Posted October 20, 2011 It was a necessary tragedy to kill the animals. Tranquilizers take upwards of twenty minutes to even sort of work on larger animals, and that was way too much of a risk. Still, it is horrible that they had to kill so many rare and endangered animals. Hopefully now the Ohio government will actually make and enforce some laws on animal ownership. If that b*stard hadn't been able to own them in first place (which he shouldn't have; the guy had been convicted of animal cruelty before), this would have never happened. ShakeNBake 0 Posted October 21, 2011 The original caretaker of the animals let them out then offed himself, apparently. It's very sad that they were killed, but in the case that people had been hurt it would have been much worse.
DuckiiJr. 9 Posted October 21, 2011 The animals that were not killed have been transported to the columbus zoo! ;D Which i live like only 10min away from XD!
