(Help) CSS error

I recently downloaded CSS on my laptop. The only problem is when I go into a server that I must download a map for, it doesn't download. It stays at 0% in the loading screen. I can, however, play on pre-existing maps (cs_assault, de_dust, etc.)

 

Does anyone know the answer to this problem?

 

Console:

ConVarRef sm_hub_version doesn't point to an existing ConVar

SetConVar: No such cvar ( sm_hub_version set to 1.0.1), skipping

Things I have tried:

-Restart Computer

-Re-install CSS

-Search Google

-Deleted cstrike folder

-Waited for it to load

-Sit on my laptop

have you tried manually downloading the map say from gamebanana or any other site and then trying see what happens.

I'll try that and get back to you. Not at the moment though.

It should work I had to download my maps when I had a laptop! Not very fun. Don't forget to add them to your map folder :) best of luck!

1) check that you have enabled custom server content (it's in options)

2) if you're using a mac then you may need to manually download

Thanks guys. I downloaded the individual map and it worked perfectly. A pain, but it works.

There is no way it can auto-download?
