Well, my time here in xG is done. I have had many good times with everyone and it will not be the end of all the relationships I have with you guys (no homo). You guys really are fun people to be around and hopefully this community can bounce back from the recent situations. As you all have probably noticed, I have had a decrease in activity over the past week simply because I have lost interest in all of this. And I'm fed up with dealing with it all. I felt like it was my obligation to be here and it just wasn't fun. I haven't done this earlier because I felt like I should stay. I thought that I was needed so I could help with the CSS servers and everything but it's just not worth it anymore. I mostly stayed because Aegean seemed to count on me for the CSS servers but as you all know, he is now gone. The recent situation was kind of a push for me to leave. I confronted everyone who was involved and still in xG and I received completely different stories from all of them. It's disgusting. Every system will be corrupt, every community will have its corruption in leadership, but its not worth it to deal with all this on a virtual community. I'm not trying to bash the community or anything. I love all of you and hope for the best for this place. Goodbye

I don't think it has gotten that bad either to a server wide extent that rules need to be put in place for everyone. That's what the beacons are for, for the seldom amount of times when this camping does occur. It's to not go to the extremes and place rules upon the whole server but a simple way to deal with the few, but many, who hide for last CT.

How does camping one area for 5 minutes equal the advantages and disadvantages. It just prolongs the round for such a long time for no reason. The only reason they camp is to last longer than the other remaining CTs so they themselves can get last CT. This wouldn't be used during a Warday even though it really wouldn't matter since Ts already know the given area where CTs are. But that's not the point. This would just be to reduce the players who try to wait out their CT teammates for last CT. Every freeday turns into a hide and seek day with the CTs hiding in corners. Its frustrating for the majority of the players on the server who are dead. How would you solve this problem then?

I believe there should be beacons on jailbreak, either automatically enforced at a certain time or given to admins and up. If it has been a Plug-in called freeday and it has passed 1:00 on the time clock, I think the camping CTs should become automatically beaconed by a plug-in if possible. Its annoying to watch CTs camp the same spot until they are found during a freeday. Another easy way to solve this is by giving only admins and up the power to beacon players and it is only to be used during freedays, on the remaining camping CTs. Once the freeday has prolonged a certain amount of time (we can eventually come up with it) the admins can beacon the remaining CTs to make it easier. Food for thought.
