Piledriver is pretty good. But Intel still beats it. When I had the money I upgraded to intel (Even though I love AMD).Intel shows an FPS increase in all games!
But yes the Piledriver microarchtecture is a step up and the L cache's are pretty big... I almost got the FX-6300. If you don't plan on overclocking, I think that AMD is a waste.
But that ATI graphics card was a bad choice. Not only is the GPU far from near as good as Nvidia but the drivers are just terrible. I have never had a good experience with ATI.
Solid build for 600$, though. The CPU is good. Only problem is GPU, and that is just me. It may be perfect I will always prefer Nvidia.

Your RAM is a bit overkill, you really only need 8GB RAM. Also, 700w is a bit much as well.
They are compatible, and you should get 60FPS in Minecraft and such.

What's your CPU, and RAM? From what I can see, you have everything you need.
Also, make sure your drivers are updated.

yeah I was actually thinking off that. I've had previous suggestions to do the same thing. What would you say, 600w?Really depends on the video card. The 7850 2GB is perfect,if I may recommend it, and with it you can get a 600w and be set. If you're not overclocking it, go with a 500w.

I'd also update the drivers for your card,as that can affect your overall performance, but consider upgrading your PSU while your at it. 400w isn't gonna cut it.

If you're gonna overclock, I recommend the 3570k, it's well worth the 30$, and if you really wanna be cheap, you can get the i3. It's not much of a performance loss, especially if you're not overclocking, but yeah.

Looks good man! What about a CD/DVD drive and a wireless card?Mainly gonna use Steam, and Microsoft Office, which I'm buying online. I'm gonna use the router as my internet, as I hear wired are generally better than wireless.

Keep in mind, this is going into a gaming PC, with a budget of 400$. I know the difference in loading times, but other than that, it seems similar. I'm going with an APU anyway.

Plus you forgot a wifi card if you still wanted that.Keep in mind, too, that larger video cards that use 2 bays are going to block one of your mobo expansion slots.
