Gonna leave for a little bit, around 10 days. Gotta clear my head and everything. Wait until I cool down. as you can imagine I'm still pissed off beyond belief about the thread, that it even got considered. It might be too late if my Co-Leader powers get revoked by then, which I'm hoping they don't, but I'm preparing for the worst.

I usually don't get pissed often, but when I do, I abuse the fuck out of the servers, as previously witnessed in CS:S. I apologize greatly, and I already banned myself for 10 days.

I'm writing this so I don't get demoted for inactivity.

Keep the server's moderated and tidy. I'll see what I can do for you guys as soon as I get back.

Try verifying game cache integrity. Worked for me and TF2. If that doesn't work, upload files to cloud, or download files from cloud. All I can think of at the moment.

The rules do state that you can't mass rdm though, so what the hell kind of argument is that?

Most recently: On my DarkRP server he joins and plays for awhile. Then, after I tell him he cannot have a gun as mayor, he takes a SWAT gun from a SWAT officer and runs around saying "I am mayor, I do what I want" while mass rdming.

If you want your own personal channel, you have to buy one. You can't convert one of your rooms, that was given to you for admin purposes by the way, and turn it to your own. That's why we have community rooms. If you really want me demoted, for populating DarkRP, having a little fun at your expense once, and causing you to do your job as a Div Leader, then by all means, demote me.

But until you start caring, start realizing that you are part of [xG] yourself, start wearing your tags, start donating money that isn't yours by the way, unless you actually start listening to your higher ups, then you might actually be taken seriously. But for now, this thread is a joke.

First off, I see that you posted something in admin chat. But how are we supposed to know what he said? Are you saying that we can now hear voices over an image?

The point is, there's not enough proof, other than you taking a photograph of somebody saying something in admin chat. I'm mean, if you can get better proof of his abuse, such as him constantly freekilling, then I'd be glad to ban him. Other than that, what I have to go by here, I'm gonna have to close this, simply because there's not enough proof.

Changing your name to avoid a ban is ban evasion. @@Chrono what else would it be?

I can see where you're coming from, but it's not enough to ban him. He codes Lua for the server, granted it's not hard, but he does it for free. I'm also getting report that the evidence is misguided as well, not only from Charrax, but from his mods as well. Gotta get some video proof if you really want him demoted.

You know, I don't think I've ever seen someone tell someones location in CT chat while dead. The only real ghosting I've ever seen was during LCT or freedays when the rounds were taking a long time. In those cases, it was always quickly dealt with.

 

 

And as you said, "I have rarely ever seen a time when an admin was not on", so why is this needed? I know it was supposed to be there in the first place. I know it's been there on CS:S forever. I don't think that matters at all. This should be treated as a completely new addition to the server (because it is).

 

Pro:

Prevents ghosting. (which if you ask anybody who actively plays on the server, is not an issue)

 

Cons:

Makes life just a little bit harder for mods.

Hurts community aspects of the server (Be it simple discussion, joking around, or just helping out someone new. It's hard to explain to a new guy how LR works when you're dead.)

 

 

I believe the cons vastly outweigh the pro, especially when the community aspect should be one of the most important things right now.

You make it sound like the community will fall apart if the can't talk to each other while they're dead. The admins can still use admin chat, so I hardly see it as a reason to keep it, as it'll get them used to using admin commands. If anything, that's a plus in itself. It wasn't supposed to be enabled in the first place.
