you dont have a static ip with youre isp. static ip's are a bit more expensive. but if you turn off youre network equipment every night you are likely to get new ip's often. im on a dianamic ip and it has not changed in almost 3 months now. but it could change tomrow. who knows. ---------- Post added at 06:09 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:07 AM ---------- also server is in vinnila creative mode. please be carefull of the ammount of fires and tnt you light. if you plan to burn stuff down make shure you dont start a forest fire and you have the fire contained. also you can burn the grass so be carefull. only you can prevent wild fires.

I am debating weather to goahead and installing 1.8 prerelease 2 on to the creative in creative mode. i will atach a poll for you to vote on. the map will not change but all plugins will be disabled for the time bing. all the sadmins on the server will be granted op stats while we wait for buckkit if we go ahead with the update. feel free to post any objections. im going to deside to switch 26 hrs of this posting. (midnight on the 14th). you have till then to vote or post. if the vote to update fails we will reset the map when buckkit comes out with 1.8 and it will remain 1.7 till then.

1.9 is expected to have the npc's in it. so it's basicly done. just the pre relece to share changes in the code and to find bugs.

reguarding 1.8 and creative the map will not be reset but when bukket for 1.8 becomes avalble or a patch i wll upgrade the server then. but for survival i say lets start fresh with a new map and spawn. when the buckket update becomes avalble.

here is the build destned for greef on the survival server for tomrows party. party starts at 3pm and ends whenever. i figure we will rip the boat down between 5-7 pm

to help us all be on at the same time or just to get more players on. Lets throw a party tomrow in the survial server. from 3pm EST to midnight or later. i my self am working on a building close by to the spawn walls for all of to tear down together! other party plans are mostly by ear. or sugest them here of what we can do.

Help us spread the word of the survival server so we can have some serious battles or fort builds. best way to do this is to tell youre friends. and to let everyone know that it is ready for them to play on! i would like to see our minecraft comunity grow so we can have more fun and not always log on to an empty server.

post any mc screen shots that YOU took in this thred. simple rules. the screen shot must be taken by you. if the screen shot includes buildings they must be made by you or used with the permission of the builder. only excptions are abandond buildings that are atleast a week old. if the screen shots come from the survival server please note that it my be used for finding the location of youre building. post this images at youre own risk of youre build. only issue with this is that we would have to make dispensers that giveaway free minecarts. and that would upset the balance of things. Best way to get out quickly is to put up with the first walk out set a home and use / home when you die.

I am making this post to let you guys know the mcserver info that you will need to connect and basic rules of each server. Server #1 aka survival IP: mc.xenogamers.com Info a server where pvp is enabled everywere. greefing is fround upon. if you must break in to someones building to make a kill we ask for you to fix the hole you came in. unless you are unable to because you were killed by the other person before you could fix it. there are no team plugins on the server but dont let that stop you from joining and making them. you can have a chat room but rember anyone can join a room. if you want to just build on this server we sugest you do it in a far location so no one will find you. you must repair youre own buildings if they are greefed. think of it as an opertunity to improve them. Server #2 aka creative IP: c.xenogamers.com Info the old creative map was moved and is now hosted on this server. this is for those who want to only build. greefing is NOT alowed and repair assestance is avalable from others. item spawning is also alowed using the /i command. please refrain from useing lava and water blocks. use the buckets insted. if misuse of water and lava gets out of hand i will disable them to mods and up only! some creations may qualify for an area protection. only good and larg sised projects protected. less protections we have the faster server runs. teamspeak use the minecraft channels Server #1 is for survival Server #2 is for creative.
