Whats really funny is that thats how my paintings look when they start out, only after layers and layers do they look cool. A few people were asking me as to my process so I started documenting the one im working on now, its still in progress but at least you can see my "method". Again I have barely ANY photoshop knowledge lol, but I paint quite often IRL. The first is an initial "sketch" that I use as the layout then the rest is saturation and layering lol. little moar Brighter base colors and highlights are loosely smeared in Then value and saturation based around the highlights and then comes the fucking stars. This is probably what took the longest in my other galaxy painting, I set the opacity to something low like 17%, 3 clicks will give a faint looking, far off star, while 5 clicks will make solid white circle. Out of boredom at work I decided to do a painting in photoshop in 20 minutes or less. I have very little PS knowledge so its always fun to fuck around in there.
