@Hidingmaster you didnt hear about it because it wasnt planned prior per se. Almost the entire CS division was in TS when the idea was brought up. It was literally put into motion on the spot, as 90% of the leadership was for the idea. So its not like this was going on behind your back, it was brought up and implemented at 2am, and I made the post informing everyone when I woke up today. I dont know what else to say here.

I mean, almost every single active CS player including bleed and silence were all there for the decision. Pretty sure if 17/18 people want something done then its going to happen.... Just my idea on the matter. And if you dont care that its gone, then why is everyone arguing? Why not instead get excited for the future like everyone else is?

Heres the deal, there havent been posts in the CSS div for months, the MG server was UNPLAYABLE and population was non existent. This post was to inform those who werent there when the decision was made, so you cant say we didnt tell you, that was the purpose of the post. Wether or not MG gets re instated lies in the hands of Silence, im sure if the community really wants it back, then it could become a thing again. Until then, just know we have big plans and are keeping in mind the wants and needs of the overwhelming majority of members here. It wasnt anything personal.

Today marks the official end of xG's presence in CS Source, our minigames server is officially closed. Recently is has been a total buggy mess, grossly underpopulated, and had a lack of staff able and or willing to work on it, as CSGO has taken all of our time and resources. I know this may sadden a few of you, but understand it was for a good reason. Along with that I am letting everyone know the the CSS forums have been ARCHIVED. All of your old threads are there but no new ones will be able to be created. We are still putting the majority of our effort into the JB server, and with that comes quite a few new features to be announced within the next few weeks, HOWEVER, @Lithium @Bleed and I have taken on a NEW super secret CSGO server, which will be officially announced and go live very shortly. We feel those in the GO community are going to like whats planned, and I personally feel that the new server is going to help bring in fresh faces and hopefully encourage member growth across both styles of gameplay. I will make an announcement when we go live with the new server! Speculate below. Happy Reboobaling ~Snackbar

Heres the thing Matsi, today we made a huge step, we added two very active players to the mod roster, and we will continue to promote (hopefully as we have member growth) each promo demo week. We are constantly assesing the issue at hand. I feel that with the new additions, it will be rare to have time on the server now where NOBODY is available to help out with general policing. Make sure you check out the updated thread of our staff stickied here: Updated Csgo Staff Roster 10/5/15 Those are the current staff members, if you dont have someone on that list add them and we will be willing to assist. If I am on, dont hesitate to shoot me a message. This is still a devoloping server, and suggestions are ENCOURAGED, and I am always 100% all ears when it comes to implementing things to benefit the server and the community. If you have any ideas, send em off to me. As far as votekick / voteslay, unfortunately these will be MASS abused by the general public and will be more of a hindrance than anything else, especially people who waited in a queue for CT. It would be too hard to find a work around where mods/ admins would be immune to it. Lastly, I say give it a week with our new staff additions, and if things still feel ajar then message me with your concerns. Id like to point out that we do have a stickied suggestion thread as well that is often unused. Ill be checking it often. Just wanted to thank everyone who vouched for me and supported this decision. I will be working diligently to improve as much as possible within the CSGO Division, with the goal to fix whats broken, implement new ideas, recruit new members, encourage growth, and above all else LISTEN TO THE COMMUNITY. If you have ideas, issues, or problems with ANYTHING, please feel free to message me here or on steam and I will address the issue as soon as possible. Would like to see a bit of a hike in your activity if you want the responsibility, but youre a great player and you enforce the rules to the best of your ability when you are on, so id say +1 because youre fit for the job. Now come in and earn it!

Hes not really wrong though forest, there really are only around 4 of us who actively staff the server. The other do mostly behind the scenes stuff. That said there ARE quite a few people who make great candidates for staff here and I feel as a few more would be a huge help
