  1. Finished my first try. Took around 30 min, but its one where if you get closer or farther, the image changes, so its kinda nice in that way. Tell me if it needs tweaking. Also, if you want the image, I can send it via Skype since its a vmt&vft combo file, and it won't be postable here. Post your Skype name here and I'll send it to you in the morning.     Hi everyone! I'm sorry for the lack of content being released the past few days. I had an emergency call and had to travel pretty far and I realized only today I forgot to give any warning. Well, I'll be back in a couple more days, but until then, I have SDK on this laptop and am working on the map in my spare time. Also, I got keys to the CS:GO beta straight from Valve so I've been playing that too. I'll post some vids when I get back and until then, Happy *insert holiday here*! :3

    UPDATE! :D The countdown begins... no matter what state the map may be by the date, it will be up and running for testing. Feb. 23rd will be the cutoff date for the initial map being worked on. From then on, it will hopefully be a playable map on the xG servers. 9 days and counting...

    @@Segway: Many people have said that, and again, the map will be brighter when done, it just save some lag compiling it without the moon just yet, and there will most likely be a gun near your portrait in the Hall of Heroes in the second level of the vip cell :3 @Silver: I might put it back to 20 seconds instead of 15, but I want the Ct's that died to be examples of not to armory camp. As for the rest, I'll be continuing no the cells and other games, trying to put in all of your ideas too. Based on my list, I'm about one third of the way being done :3 So most likely, I'll try and finish it by the 23rd or earlier :D

    [ATTACH]1693.vB[/ATTACH] Update! Working on custom cells! The one featured about is the Rain/Kermit cell with lilly pads, streetlights, and of course water and rain. The rain may be my favorite effect (Rain, I still need your spray too :3) You can kinda see something in the corner, but thats the next cell I'm working on :3 I can't believe its only been 5 days since I started this and its already starting to look like a playable map! The climb and underwater race have been completed too. Underwater race feature a teleport to it, and a teleport back, but its one of the few area I didn't put a kill timer on. This is mostly because even if you win, you take a ton of hp damage from drowning and while there is a health station near the exit, the race usually kills hesitant players. The climb features three tiers. The first is the soft tier, anyone can make it. The second one is a little more difficult, but leads to the third tier, which will kill you if you fall. However, winning at the third tier will kill everyone, including the winners of the first tier, and instantly obtain lr. This is timed though, so if they don't make it to at least the soft tier, then everyone dies anyway excluding the winners. :3 Who says the T's have it easy. ;)

    Update! I say with teary eyes that using vismaps wouldn't stop the lag machine that was the zepplin... Since it caused crazy angles and interfered with the skybox, I hat to let it go since it almost stopped progress on the map.... Now that its gone, the map is much much much faster now and I'm glad it's gone :3 Its a shame... I had it set to light on fire and explode at the end of the map, but it would have crashed my pc anyways :3 Back to the good news. I'll have the custom cells described above done by tomorrow afternoon. I hope I get more ideas for the custom cells as all I have left to work on after that is the soccer, disco, and finishing climb and race until more ideas come in. I'll have to be careful as once I put down the basic stuff otherwise it could lag again... So onward!

    @Blu: I'll do the disco first then I'll see if we can fit your idea in. I just want to make sure the area is not noise polluted so they can hear over the warden. Also, apparently I filled up about 5 terabytes of data on my pc, now sdk is running horribly. Time to delete some Starcraft :3

    Update! Personalized Cells can now be made! I've already made the single vent and single gun cell, so thats out of the way. If you guys want a specific themed cell added (since this is cyberpunk anything goes :3) I'll make it look nice and add you spray too. Someone gave me the idea and I'll be finishing up their cell soon. Post anything you want to see in the cell if you want and I'll get right to it. Once these are done, spawn will be finished, so I can start beta testing the games with others :3

    @Blu: Yesh, it will be Club Blu, you spammed steam chat enough as it is X3 @Ninj4: There are always going to be more than one vent, but that's just an out of the way one for when T's are rebelling. There is a sheild in front of the broken armory doors that prevent T's from enter normally other than a warday, so its and option. Plus, I can't put a vent by the door, the Ct's would see them :3 Also, the tower featured in the video is the beginning of the climb portion, so thats one I'm doing now to fill space :D @Si: Don't forget, when there is give, there is get :3 While I'm working on the T areas aka rebel areas, its because that's how you layer a map. Start with the stuff to let the T's rebel a little, then run a test, and add stuff like barriers and water to give Ct's an advantage. One, the T's won't be able to camp the areas I've already build since the games and areas T's are sent to run on kill timers, and the majority of teleports or vents have water on the other side, so there is no place to camp in vents, it justs moves them to try to rebel elsewhere. Finally, the map will be lighter than most with all the neon, so there are few places for a T to hide. Also, final note, the way the map is designed will be that if T's deter from their path, they can't just run amok in the teleports as each one had to be enabled by a ct for t's to enter, so in reality, this is a balanced map so far and I'll try to keep it that way :3

    [ATTACH]1666.vB[/ATTACH] Alright, so I gave in and ended up working on the map somemore. Here's how the Lr Alley is right now, right next to the Armory and Thunderdome. Its kinda bare, so I need all of your help. :D If you can link to your avatar or logo or even put the picture in the thread, I can decorated the walls of this place with all of your sprays. I'm still putting the sprays all over the place for the people who give me their ideas, but this will be an area where all of the xG can join in and put a piece of themselves. I'm hoping to fill most of the alley with logos. I may end up resorting to the avatar forum if I'm running low, but I hope you guys are up for it :3

    No balls

    What many Ct's don't understand is that it takes courage to jump during no balls. Crouching is really just off-putting for the game. Standing really isn't that exciting, and even if someone was to want to type something, they have to wait til the game is over. Crouching kinda ruins the fun of the game. That and so many freekills happen during the crouching portion over the jumping portion since some players can lag and pop up or simply get killed while another guy in front of them is standing the the CT is a bad aim. To be honest, crouching is a Ct's way to keep the T down, and we know many hate it when games start to take on an overpowing feel for the Ct's. :3

    I'll be taking a break for the next day on the map, but I finished some anti-gravity controls, a place I'm deeming LR Alley for now, and the begins of a disco and pool area with a hot tub (and a gun :3) I'll get back to it within a day, but I want to get back to playing some Jb too :3 Edit* I can't take it, not taking a break anymore, this is too fun :D

    @Pyro: There can be furries, any idea how to impliment them? Any info for that would be great ^^ @Loki: After some thought and some general comments on the server, this map will be nearly door free. Some of the graffiti around the city will describe the Anti-Door movement building in the map recently... @ Angrehorse: As more ideas enter the fray, so does the time it will be finished increase. Making a map (especially alone) is a very timetaking task. However, I may just release versions of the map to test and replace them with newer versions later on. Expect to see this map finished by the end of February if not later. Learning how to use the updated SDK Source is time consuming too, but it's fine :3 Updates! DISCO! You all have had some comment or another about the disco, and now you can vote for the songs! Post a song in the thread, and the best voted songs will make the cut. I'm looking at adding 6 Songs max, so choose wisely :3 The first ever Poke'mon Staduim within Jailbreak has been completed! It features a full scale Poke'arena with platforms for the trainers to stand on and a Poke'Center to heal at nearby. The current songs features on the "Music Stand" are the original Red and Blue version of "Wild Poke'mon Battle" and the remix (and a favorite of mine) "Pokemon Red Battle Music Remix" from NicoNico. More things may be added under the stadium, but the basic teleports and buttons have been made, so be thankful I didn't have to make all this with redstone :3 Finally, I'm stuck on what to do with the lr room. Sure we have basic lr stuff, but any twists? Any game that could be approved by an admin (likely a two player game that runs pretty quick) would be nice. Be sure to get this stuff around so everyone can get their 5 cents in! :3

    [ATTACH]1614.vB[/ATTACH] So far so good I think. I worked the lights to a near neon twinge so it should be epic to fight on. For those of you who still think the map is a bit dark, dont forget a moon will be added later on to ensure more light :3 The underside looks a little bare, so what would you guys prefer? Personally, I could string up a deathrace or something, but its always up to you guys! :D Don't forget to tell other members about this thread so word can get around and people can add a little bit of themselves to this map :3 Btw, until the votes are in for what should be done underneath the poke'stadium, I'l work on the Lr room or something.

[ATTACH]1613.vB[/ATTACH] "Two will enter, one is Doug" My project today will be working on the Pokemon/Thunderdome area, an idea that got me excited when it was brought up no map has a staduim like it. It's entirely knife fights, but I'm sure some form of death soccer or something will be added later. I doubt I'll get to much else today, but we'll give it a shot :3

    One more thing, a moon will be added to ensure some light to those who wanted it, and I've been experimenting with rain controls and we might be able to have a light rain in the game without risking lag! Stay tuned and be sure to add more ideas or impress on old ones!

    [ATTACH]1605.vB[/ATTACH] This image is really just of the knife arena (the gyroscope thingamajigger) and the B-Hop Blimp. The knife arena, for those hardened vets, is a straight up deathmatch! The platform is wide enough to move around in without the annoyances of delayers. But watch your step, as this is surrounded by three instakill gyroscopes that ensures no one escapes the arena. The bhop blimp is still in development, but inside is a medium sized bhop challenge (might just change it to race, but bhop blimp sounded cooler :3) that teleports those who traverse it back to the start, and like the race of Canyondam, will kill off anyone who takes too long. That's probably it for the night!

    Tonight's update: [ATTACH]1603.vB[/ATTACH] Well, I can only use one picture at a time, so I'll put two up for now(Next one will be the other post). This first one is part of an idea I've had for the map. Now naturally, having all of you give me such awesome ideas has to earn some credit right? I've figured out the best way to go about this. Every so often, as random and crazy as this map may be, you may find something... familiar. Much akin to the lambda symbols of half life, you may come across a spray of someone you know. Can you find this one? If not, its Unit12p! These sprays will give credit to an idea that someone had and I put in the map. In this case, Unit has earned credit for the anti-armory-camping device (located to the right) and a hidden entrance to the armory (to the left). So, if you see your spray, it may be your idea! It could even be a cleverly placed teleport... This idea is just starting up, but once you understand the jist of it, it becomes very clear.

    [ATTACH]1587.vB[/ATTACH] Going from the a comment I had the day I started this, the winning theme was "Cyberpunk" so the map will be dark in some places for terrorists and bright and colorful in others for CT's. This is a 'so far' picture I have of one of the buildings. I also finished making a mile high knife arena complete with video for people on the ground and a climb type game within a zepplin off to the right. The next additions will be the soccer field and the cell area (but the cells won't be cells... persay :3) Things like surf and race will be done when more of the map is finished and will allow for more creative ways of doing them (aka surf can loop around the map across the tops of buildings) Thats it for my update tonight.
