WOAH, since I was dragged in here, this is how it is supposed to be enforced, like forest said. If there is a rebel, and you actually see him rebelling, like shooting at you, then he is a rebel lets say he kills warden then runs away, and you chase him. nobody calls warden, 15 seconds pass, admins say freeday. he was an active rebel. thus you can still kill him as he had a gun and was shooting. but lets say that he was a rebel who was just hiding in surf (as in the case here) and an admin calls a freeday, then in that case, you must have some of the following criteria: You know the exact name of the rebel, how is this done? there are 2 Ts left alive, one non rebel and the other being the one hiding in surf. warden gets killed (or slain) but you know the one non rebel, you are still actively pursuing the rebel, 15 seconds pass and then there is an admin called freeday. free days in no way pardon rebels (save fire-drill which does not exist without bombs) This case: 1 player in cell block other rebel after warden freekilled mullin, 15 seconds admin called freeday [the 1 in cells can run free] but the last person who was hiding who was a designated rebel came out and ran at matsi. he was still a rebel as he received no official pardon. matsi stabbed his pooper and then got slayed by vector. What was wrong? Vector slayed matsi after the player complained in all chat. Why did vector slay? confusion in the way a freeday and pardons work. What have we learned? if you know exactly who the rebel is and you can verify that (small group of people followed orders and they are all in one location and rebel comes out w/o a pardon) he is indeed a rebel after an admin calls freeday, kill his ass, and don't slay the CT for doing it. that is how it should be handled. Should there be a punishment for a misunderstanding? no. Is this better clarified? yes. Should there be disrespect coming out of matsi? no. I believe everyone here agrees on this after understanding the reasoning.

I think this thread has pretty much run the max span it should have... Based on the Ratings given on the post I made absically re stating what forest said, the player giving a good well thought out -1 agrees with it, i'm going to ignore a -1 because of the irony. and the general yolo of it all. Here's where we stand: Minecrack is typically a very good player, he has his off days, but so does everyone else. as seen from other players who have been unbanned for mass intentional freekill. So here is what we are going to do (after having spoken to serbian about it.): We are going to unban Minecrack from CT. He is playing on CS:GO and knows the jailbreak rules after enforcing them for over a year. However the un-ct ban is global so it unbans him on CS:S too. there is a small dilema there, in that he can go on CT in CSS if and when he goes on there. he said himself that he has no intention to purposely go on CT on CSS, so if he does get auto swapped, then he should swap himself or an admin can if he is afk, that doesn't mean he can't be on CT, if the mods or admins in server don't mind him being on CT when he is there, then they can let him know he can be on CT for a little bit if he gets auto swapped. keep in mind though, that if nobody is on CT that will warden, other than him, and you choose to swap him off because you don't want him on there, you better go CT yourself and warden. Other than that, we should be good here, do not ban him for just being on CT, swap him off. if you straight up ban him for being on CT without swapping him (unless he was freekilling!) then you would be in the wrong, and it would be considered abuse. #Unbanned #Closed

Or here is a better option rather than just banning him again for joining CT. we just... unban him. :| and if you really don't want him on CT if and when he is on CS:S, just teamswap him. there won't be any complaints if there are competent wardens. and if he is the only competent warden and you swap him, replace him with yourself...

@@Forest i completely get that, and that is why i didn't unban him. but i am just getting the point across that there is some irony behind some of the reasons being stated in posts, whether it be saying he is disrespectful with blatant disrespect, or saying perm should be perm he knew what he was doing, -1. when they gave a +1 to many others doing the same thing and that that stems from their personal feelings towards the player in question. I know full well that it would be a slap in the face, and i am not quite sure why he would do it when he planned to go on csgo when he knows we use sourcebans for ALL ct bans. not quite sure. but then again, isn't it also kind of a slap in the face to mass freekill intentionally anyway? and then ask for an unban. yet it has been done numerous times. what i am saying is why does this one person, who has done roughly the same for the community be it through moderating servers or donations, as some others, get a completely different response when he voiced his disagreement? (taken from what is seen in this thread)

That's my point, he was a div leader. Minecrack was a mod. neither of which you had a personal relationship with, you weren't even DM when papi was D. they both intentionally mass freekilled. they both got banned. they both asked for an unban. they both did not care for any of the current css staff. they both got completely different responses.

this is where i rest my case, because i just find it ironic that you (referring to most people) will +1 an unban for the same offense on someone who doesn't even care for any of you, the only thing he had in relation to you was that he was your div leader as opposed to minecrack who was a moderator under you. neither of them kissed ass like other ban protests we have seen, nor did they deny any of the actions (mass freekilling PURPOSELY). the real differences are that A) One was of a higher rank than you. B) One does not agree with your opinion and ahs openly disagreed. NOTE: disagree and voicing your disagreement are completely different from disrespect. so far what i have seen in this thread is a voiced disagreement from minecrack, and a voiced disrespectful statement from @@John about minecrack.
