You'll have to uninstall Steam and use the custom options during Steam install to specify the different folder (or in this case, drive). Steam can and will only install games to it's folder. Pro-tip: Copy the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\[username] to a safe place. Uninstall Steam. Reinstall Steam to new location. Run and log in to Steam. DO NOT install any games. Exit Steam. Copy the backed up folder from step 1 to the new install location. ???? Profit.

You've actually got a lot of options. Before we continue let me just say that if you format you're 500 gb HDD then everything on it's going to be gone. I know you know that, but I want to say it anyway so you can't blame me if something goes wrong. Short answer to your question is: Yes. If you plug in a second HDD it will take the next available letter and you can install programs to that second (or third or fourth, etc) HDD. Sometimes you need to choose an "advanced" or "custom" install to specify a different folder/drive. Any programs that are already installed on your system probably can't be moved unless you uninstall and re-install, including Steam. Simply copy-and-pasting from your existing drive to the new drive will cause registry errors, association errors, file system errors, and headaches. You other option is to ghost or image your 80 gb HDD to the 500 gb HDD. This takes every last drop of data bit-fot-bit and copies it to the other drive. You would then be able to run the 500 gb HDD as your primary and remove the 80 gb HDD. That gets a little more involved so let me know if you want to know how to do that. I've been working on computers for damn near 20 years and have worked a few help desk and technician jobs so I know what I'm talking about and I know what I'm doing. If you want I'd be willing to Skype and do some remote administration to help you through everything. ---------- Post added at 06:22 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:28 PM ---------- This could actually be a file system failure. The file system could potentially be restored and restore some or all of the folder structure you originally had on the drive.

If it's not too much work could this list include SteamID's? Ban logs list by ID, not too mention there's in-game name changing from time to time.

MOTD says that if you are ordered to drop a gun that if you pass it or pick it back up you are automatically rebel - that's implied and warden/CT doesn't need to order that. So, whether you ran or not, you were rebel at that point. Because of this, Mullin was not freekilled, therefore Mullin did freeslay (if he did in fact slay, I don't see the !slay in there at all). The freeslay most likely caused the disrespect which caused the kick. I think a little thing just snowballed here and should just be water under the bridge.

I think something like this would be great. It would clear up so much confusion and prevent so much arguing and just make rounds go a lot smoother. Instead of a server message in chat, would it be possible to have the text in the middle of the screen? Often times at the beginning of the round chat is very active so the server message could get shuffled away. Also, a lot of nubs don't always read chat nor would they think to look there to see who's warden. In addition to that, perhaps all other CT's would be muted for 5 seconds so warden can be clearly announced (not too long of a mute, though, other CTs could need mics readily for announcing rebels, drop gun, kifing vent, etc). Additionally, I think this would be good for first warden only and not when warden dies. When warden dies it's the responsibility of the other CTs to notice that and act upon it. Making a new warden automatically or even alerting it would give the CTs an advantage to take warden when it could potentially result in a freeday. One other thought, but this may not come apparent until testing - But sometimes a CT who might be talking at the end of a round will clip into the start of the next - would this result in him being warden? I picture either A) someone getting warden who doesn't want it or B) all CT's holding mic button at the end of the round to try to get warden.

This is indeed the ultimate fail.

@CookiePrinces I hope you see in this post and other that I try to keep things un-biased. If you were talking to Korean and Serbian about these things then I'm sure they'll be in here to defend you and I certainly welcome that. I can only report what I see and that's exactly what I've done. I've been admin on other servers and - while I understand this server uses different plugins - I'm not sure how one persons name was mistaken for another when it is displayed on a menu. Nor do I understand how the same mistake happened 2+ times within 10 seconds. Furthermore, if you were trying to learn commands and talking to another mod at the same time I'm curious how you were almost constantly looking around in your cell (God I wish I still had that demo). Cookie. And anyone else reading this. I'm a joker and I like having a good time. Also I admit I'm not perfect and I fumble plenty. But when it comes to member/mod/admin submissions/protests I stay level headed and unbiased, I hope this shows in my posts. (You can see my attempts to keep things unbiased in this very thread about an hour ago on MineCrack's posts - notably before this post or Cookie's post were created). I've only presented what I saw and what proof I had and invited others to chip in regardless of their views or opinions - that's what this is all about.

No one cares. LOL I'm still better than you.

Activity: 9/10 = +1 Calling warden: 9.9/10 = +1 Understanding rules: 7/10 = 0 But my ultimate decision is -1 because: He interprets things too "black-and-white" - even more-so than I do. He complains almost every time he is killed - Most of the time he calls "freekill" when he in fact did do something wrong.
-
Decision: +1 Maturity: 8/10 Activity: 8/10 Why: Knows rules, has mic, participates. Please fix your Steam ID. It can be found by typing "status" in console while in-game connected to any server.

Well, here's something... The demo is only 48 seconds so I'm not goin gto bother noting ticks... https://rapidshare.com/files/4225235139/cookie6.dem You'll see she hung out at armory looking for AFK's. At the same time you hear the warden asking "where are my CT's". So, if nothing else, here's a little proof the mod powers are more important to her than actually playing the game. (AFK's in armory would be low-priority to me, if nothing else it's a free kill for the first T into armory).

As a player I can't see admin console so there's no way to prove she's changing peoples teams... Of course if I get a good demo then 1 plus 1 of course equals 2... But that could require hours of recording *hoping* I'm in the right spot at the right time. Because of this I hope too much recorded proof isn't required because - as I said - there's little hope of me recording most of what was described. Can an admin check console for her commands after 10:20-ish through 10:50 - 11:00 or so central time?

She's in game now so probably not lurking forums... trying to get a demo of something.

Yep. @@Deodate @fluffbottom @@MineCrack @@MinerTeddy dat10char ---------- Post added at 10:50 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:47 PM ---------- Update: Cookie was just camping for !lr. (Note: I understand that camping while rebelling is okay, but Cookie was second-to-last T and she continued to camp.) I used @ chat to say this and she said "oh well I'm rebelling". I then switched to spec to try to record her, as promised, and I found myself switched to CT from Spec a couple times. By the time I got to spec she was dead... I'll get something...

They'll be through within a few days. Sometimes they like to give a few extra days to allow any other input as well. You'll be in soon I'm sure. *brohoof*

Donating is a way to support a server and community you enjoy. A lot of servers don't reward donators at all. The perks will be back with due time. Side note: If you plan on rebelling, you'll quickly learn that tracers and trails just give away your location and a hat makes you more easily identifiable and you'll want to shut the shit off anyway.

Dear @@silence Yes, there are a number of great maps on the server. Some of which I'll love forever and will never get old. But some do get old. And some are already old. And others are just plain stupid and get RTV'd in 3 rounds. Please consider checking out 1 or 2 or 6 new ones. <3, McNeo P.S. Everyone has different tastes... Just because you, our fearless leader, dislikes a map doesn't mean it didn't get a dozen +1's by others. Give a few a shot? Please? Found a map new jb maps? Heard you were having lag problems with the map. For starters, ANYTHING is going to lag when it's uncomplied and in development. Second, I just read some of this thread and found out you're doing it on your laptop. *facepalm* You realize that laptop CPUs are under powered, right? That's going to increase the lag exponentially. The map problem runs fine once compiled. Keep up the work or share the source so someone can do something.

If presented correctly and posted in the correct thread a formal debate regarding anything can take place as is on the forum.

It's at a Plato's Closet. The help desk place I work for is third-party and services a lot of different businesses, I got to talking to the owner of this place and she wanted me to come in for an interview. If I took this I'd keep my help desk gig part time and Plato's would be full time. It'd be a little less pay - but it gives me an opportunity to get out of the house more, see people, and - oh - Plato's Corporate puts on an all-expenses-paid networking meeting each year... I could be in Florida next month! That actually makes a lot of sense. Thanks, kid! :beguiled:
