I'v already said that his demotion was already agreed on by Higher-Ups, including Silence. During the time, ban @ all was severely disrupting the game (it was used at least 3-4 times consecutively, and if I'm not mistaken was used the day before as well). We decided to crack down on it, and it was established that anyone caught using the command would receive an immediate demotion to Member, no exceptions. It could have been anyone else, and I would still stand by it because that is what we established was the punishment. You can't compare this sort of event to a different one as they are two completely different situations. If you want to use Warrior's as an example, his reasoning was that he believed it was the right course of action. Whether or not he's lying is impossible to tell, maybe he does have a small IQ (<3) and thought smite @ all would be the best solution. Point is, he did it in order to maintain the Server and do his job. Aaron, although giving a vote to see if the server was in agreeance, did a ban @ all when a couple days before it was, as I mentioned earlier, it was agreed on that ban @ all would warrant a demotion. Like I said, it could have been anyone else, but during the time of that whole ordeal, it was frustratingly annoying to have to go through all this trouble just to find the person who thought it would be funny to do it a bunch of times; so you can at least imagine how riled up the Higher-Ups were. No leniency was given during that time. In terms of Aaron being eligible to receive a Staff position again, I honestly have no grievances with it. Simply put, what he did (although was agreed on by the Server) still warranted a demotion back then, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't be able to earn his position back.

I would also argue that there is a large shift between the two games (TF2 and CS:S) due to TF2 being free to play. It may not be the biggest reason we have a largely populated server, but I'm sure it does help some that you can just download it and start playing right away with money as no issue. But yeah, I have to agree that our community leans more on the group activities side than it does on the competitive side. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, but it definitely means a harder time keeping everyone happy since these group activities aren't necessarily the "norm" for CS:S (IE, Jailbreak) and require special attention.

We aren't SnG, WD, or any other Clan/Community who "borrows" ideas from other prospering groups, at least that's the impression I'm under. Original material is the best way to get active Members/Players who are dedicated to our Servers. However, in order to do that we need the community as a whole to provide ideas or suggestions as well as put some of these suggestions to action. Unfortunately, we lack people to take initiative to try new things. Sure, it's easy to mention something or throw out an idea, but if no one will even give it a try or will consider it, how will it even be played out? Things that may include adding new content to the Servers, and these don't have to be fancy plugins or codes and shit like that. You'd be surprised at how many people will stay for a fun activity, but imagination is lacking badly and all I see are boring and repetitive routines being played over and over again. I won't say I haven't tried (ideas for new days, games, different outlook on wardening, events for the community to enjoy) but there's only so much I can do. This all mostly pertains to the (CS:S) Jailbreak aspect of our Servers, which I'm sad to say is growing weaker. Unless there is a change (not likely to happen, honestly), the server will eventually die out. Far too many of you are relying heavily on plugins (hub, for example), and because of that you are forcing yourselves to have fun, which won't change anything and will only give the Server a stale sense of something that isn't there. Instead of focusing on "material" things for the Server, try looking at it in a different aspect. I implore you. //end rant - Dat guy, Forest

Best way to repel players from Jailbreak is to have played during Last CT.

Implying I was a Co at the time and that Poncher didn't give two shits. Why are you pulling me back in here you nig, I don't even think I got the chance to give my opinion on that mess.

Getting more active. CS:S needs it's daily dose of Forest again.

The amount of brain cells I lost kills me. Gyazo - 2d7d753b4890c8b5cbacad5d503b5445.png I r disappoint.

They can appeal for an unban, just as with WD.
-
Ye, I know Sharks and Minnows used to be played as Piranha, but adding it to the MoTD as a valid game will let people know it's something that may be considered.

Baddie unbanned him already. Thread is no longer necessary, and as such will now be #Closed. ~ Forgotten in the Lost Woods

^ Same. My apologies ladies and gents.

Dear god, you have a lot of time on your hands.

If the T kills the CT, they get shot up and die for rebelling, when they could just swim to the opposite end and live. The Warden is to "draw" a picture, not a word. If the word is "tree" he would try to "draw" a tree, etc.

Didn't know tree was british.

Thing is, he'll only be making the round longer if he doesn't try, so good for him/her! I may just note that it can only be played with 3 Terrorists too.

How about when Hub is released we unban EVEEEERYOOOONEEEEEE

Remembrance Day This is a day to commemorate one of CS:S Jailbreak's most beloved and most wanted attractions; hub. This day is to be treated as a Freeday. During this day, Ts may not use their mics or Public Chat in order to commemorate Hub by giving a day of silence in respect. Any T who uses their mic or sends out a message via Public Chat (Team Chat is allowed on this day) will be rendered a Rebel for disturbing the peace. CTs who use their mics or type in Public Chat will be frowned upon and will be singled out as a bad egg. There is a Last Request on this day. Lightning Race This game is played out as a team effort. A race start/end point will be given by the Warden. A CT will pair up with a T of their choosing (One CT with One T). The objective of this game for Terrorists is to cross the finish line first. The objective of the Counter-Terrorists is to delay the opposing team's Terrorist by tasering them whenever possible. CTs may not taser the T on their own team. The first Terrorist to cross the finish line wins, and the other Terrorists are killed. This game may only be played with 3 Terrorists and may be played to determine Last Request. Sharks and Minnows A pool is needed for this game. Terrorists will line up on one side of the pool (or on a diving board) and the Warden will call out a Terrorist to go first. A Counter-Terrorist will be in the pool, awaiting the Terrorist to jump in. The objective of the Terrorist is to swim to the opposite side of the pool without dying. The objective of the Counter-Terrorist is to kill the Terrorist before making it to the opposite side. The CT may only left-click knife at all times and must stop once the T has left the pool water. This cannot be done to determine Last Request. There may be 1-2 CTs maximum at any given point in the pool (must remain a 1 CT - 1 T, 2 CTs - 2Ts ratio) Draw My Thing Terrorists will line up with a decent distance between themselves and a wall in front of them as instructed by the Warden. The Warden will think of a word, type it in CT chat, and then proceed to "paint" a picture using bullet holes from his/her gun onto the wall in front of the Ts to hint at their word (for example, if the word is tree, the Warden will attempt to "draw" a tree). The first Terrorist to guess the word correctly wins. This game may be played to determine Last Request. More to come later. Always thinking of new ideas/games/days to perk up the CS:S Division. Feel free to post any other ideas! - Dat guy, Forest

Need more active Wardens who make it fun. .. I guess I'll start getting on every now and then again, I'm sure everyone's sick of repetitive Wardens doing the same thing day in, day out, huehue

Understandable that it's frustrating, but we shouldn't just add onto bans to teach someone a lesson. If they have done something wrong that warrants an extension of time, then so be it. Simply saying that "it doesn't phase them" doesn't exactly warrant a means of extension for a ban. Although, If he had threatened or disrespected while saying it then by all means it could be discussed for a harsher punishment, but looking over what he said earlier doesn't show any sort of aggressive behaviour (passive at best). On another note, MineCrack used to be way worse. Just sayin'.

My theory is that it's like two people of African descent calling each other "niggers" (which is apparently fine) but if someone of a different ethnicity says it, god knows what happens. Now, pertaining to the thread. Are you sure this shouldn't be more of a Member Protest than it is a Ban Request? I'm sure there are numerous Members of the community who have long ban lists (and most of these lists consist of bans done as a joke), in which case they should be receiving the same treatment. However; if MineCrack is intentionally freekilling over the course of the next week or so (only kills that are seen as a hostile act, not occasional jokes among friends), then yes, the ban time should be raised. Given that this is most likely one of his first in as many as a few weeks or months, I don't expect he'll be doing it again (I may be wrong), but if it does happen again as Matsi mentioned, increase the ban time.

I don't think you quite grasp the concept. Like this: #2EZ

The following Members of XenoGamers are on the Missing List: Darkwolf6052 Gkoo HidingMaster These Members were last sighted doing their Higher-Up duties. Up to now, they are still missing and are forcing me to deal with their problems. I am giving out a reward of 100 internets to the man or woman who can find these work avoiding Members, Dead, or alive. I want the best of the best working on this case at all hours of the day. Any information regarding these people would be greatly appreciated. Good luck ladies and gentlemen. Our latest intel tells me that @@Bleed has been keeping them hostage and is asking for ransom, however; we do not negotiate with terrorists.
